I have them as well only on the rear top. In most lighting they are hard to see and barley visible. Difficult to feel as well. I'm also not happy with the alignment on the passenger side of the top between the middle and rear piece.

I appreciate this solution, but I move around quite a bit and went with the RollnJack for the rear top and Hooke Road cart for the doors and rest of the top.
I bought them (or a similar style) in red, found them not to work once I installed a bimini top. And like Raptor Guy stated, I was concerned about a piece of metal so closed to my noggin. Went with the paracord option.
