I custom ordered mine as well over the distressed flag. I have had zero issues. When I installed it, I waited 24+ hours after installing the Velcro before placing the top.

I have a Bestop that I got with points from Ford Accessories. It seemed to loosen up and I could never keep it tight. I custom Ordered a JTops and have been very pleased with the performance so far.
