Ford uses the outside temp sensor to regulate the inside air. My problem is that the outside temp sensor does not work at low speed. So I go on a trail in the morning when cold, and then the outside temp heats up, but the Bronco thinks it is still cold outside and so the air conditioning will...
Did Eagle Canyon yesterday. The trail starts about 74 miles northwest of Moab. (rated moderate) Also did a side canyon. Eagle arch was cool. I-70 goes over Eagle Canyon at one point.
If you enter at the top itis really brushy, you will get a lot of pinstripes. There is a trail that enters about 1/2 way down the canyon and the brush is not as bad. It is on Gaia if you use that.
I don't disagree that it will appeal to some people, and I may have gone too far with "pavement princess", but it will not be a great off road vehicle. Don't get me wrong, an electric buggy would be great off road. 100% torque at 0 RPM is perfect for off road. But a passenger vehicle with all...
The property sold a couple of years ago and was closed down. Now the owner wants to make money. It is mostly a buggy area, but there are a couple of trails a Bronco can do. We will see what happens as many people will not spend a $ 100 to wheel for one day when there are still a lot of trails...
Thank you. Please tell your engineers that if the Bronco is in 4 low and the stabilizer bar is disconnected, and then you turn off the engine, when you restart it, DO NOT auto reconnect the stabilizer bar. I had a rough last part of the trail because I didn't realize the bar was reconnected...
Yesterday we did Elephant Hill down in the Needles district of Canyonland National Park, and took a friend in his LJ Jeep on 40's. It is a very scenic trail with some real challenges. Do not do this trail if you are new to off roading. Well's rates it Difficult, not recommended for stock...
One of the reasons that the EJS fees are so high is that they pay the BLM to run the trails. I believe it is $ 5.00 per person per day. Plus the local club works with the BLM all year long, maintaining trails and cleaning up.
At trail sign up the trail leader should be there and ask questions of people signing up. What experience they have, what equipment they have and so on. A good trail leader will not let someone go on a trail that is too tough for them or their equipment. The people who put on the event should...
All other events were approved. The graffiti on the rock was a big problem. EJS is run by the local 4 wheeler group and they do have a lot of political grip, but even they have had problems. The town is very liberal, and a lot of people feel they are here and now nobody else should come. So...
