Yup like I mentioned, it depends on each person use case. You'd be surprise how heavy roof top tent can be. Below is an example of a popular one. So that would be a reason why someone would go for an aftermarket roof rack.

It depends on your use case for what you will be using the roof rack for. The oem roof rack is not rated for a roof top tent. Aftermarket roof rack have stronger rigidity that can hold more load than the OEM rack.

Just saw that the front runner roof rack is on sale for $1,386.00 compared to the $2000 regular pricing.

Are you experiencing the sagging issue that most RCI roof rack are experiencing? Where the rear hard top latches is rubbing against the cross beam.

Does this in anyway help reinforce the hardtop? WIll it help help increase the load limit the roof rack. I'm hoping that it will help for the purpose for a roof top tent.

Any idea if the accessory molle panel will offload some weight off the rear hard top similar to the trailrax? Also is there an update on the roof rack hard top reinforcement bracket. There has been some concern about the roof rack causing "sag" on the rear part of the hard top. You can read up...

I wonder if this issue is exclusive to only RCI rack? I wonder if the other roof rack out there is causing the same issue.

Funny story... My first reservation back in 2021 I had order through Bob Wondries Ford in Alhambra. They said they were going to markup reservations holder and I pumped the brakes and switch to Norm Reeve Cerrirtos Ford. Haven't had a issue since. My bronco was sold at Sticker price.

I believe you need the Mid package for BLIS. Base does not come with Mid package unfortunately.
