I came with a solution, seems like it'll be a permanent one. I wedge a wooden 1.5" block between the roll bar and the hardtop on the left and right side. Seems to have solve the issue.

Maybe get a half rack roof rack?

Yeah the JCR hardtop bracket is more important to because I run RTT. So far I only see Pura and m2m making these bronco attic tray. Would like to see more competition.
