    Same thing here, they got me fixed up in a day or 2 so you should be ok. Idk why some people are waiting weeks for the part. Makes me wonder how honest these dealers are being.

    I’m not sure exactly what it resets but it doesn’t reset your settings. When I’m having CarPlay issues it always solves them.

    It doesn’t, I actually do this on long trips while driving! Just unplug and wait for it to connect wirelessly before plugging in usb

    have you tried resetting the system? I think I hold power and right seek button until the screen goes black and airplay improves

    I’m really sorry that sucks. I suggest taking to a body shop and see if they’d can fix it for a reasonable amount. I think a 2 plate sandwich design would be a great product to offer
