I remember getting a recall done on something similar. Do you think its worth trying to get this replaced because of this similar recall? I will pay to replace it myself but I haven't changed anything on the drivetrain to cause this so will this just happen every 30k miles? lol
I updated with a photo of the bushing connected to the transfer case. I see that notch is supposed to be there now and this is likely what they were talking about.
Hello,
Been awhile since I logged in lol
I have my 2DR badlands in the shop for a 30k service and a few recalls that required reprogramming. I have already had the leaking transfer case and drive shaft replacement last year in the front.
Now I have damage to the rear driveshaft bushing and it...
Lol I get this all the time but on Friday night someone in front of me really wasn’t having it and was “waving” at me out the window. I proceeded to flash my high beams to let them know it’s not that and I can’t do anything about it right now.
Helps to go with others as you get spotters and help getting stuck. You aren’t going to get “better” on easy fire roads. Check out sourgrass off of hw 4
If you don’t end up selling it I’d be willing to purchase the front plastic mount that bolts to the windshield. I snapped mine and ford wants me to buy a full rack.
Ya I agree I think this is a healthy balance before risking your rack. I’d like to complete the rubicon but waiting till I get thru these 35s and can upgrade to 37 or 38
