I give up. I've better things to do with my life than to look at all the things Ford said I could have that they won't let me have without an automatic trans that I WILL NOT BE FORCED TO BUY.
I'll come back when Ford gets its pathetic act together.
Huge disappointment. So many things that make absolutely no sense whatsoever. FORD, if you really are listening, I'm buying a manual regardless of what you think or want and any option you try to screw me out of will be added by yours truly without one red cent to Ford if you can't get your...
Nope. I prefer shifting my own gears. My 2004 RX8 is a 6 speed manual. Also had a 2001 Mini Cooper with a 5 speed, a 1994 Ranger manual, and a 1967 Cougar manual. Of course my 2001 Triumph Bonneville motorcycle is manual. Learned how to drive manuals from my dad with his 80's something GMC Jimmy...
Looks great! Hope it isn't just posing with an empty trailer that comes in near its max two capacity empty.
My 87 Bronco is rated for and has towed twice what the new one is. Please Ford, up the max tow. It has the frame for it, and the same basic drivetrain as the Ranger with double the...
Our kids are grown, so I'm not worrying about any passengers and that doesn't look any harder than getting in the back of my 1987 Bronco. My wife and I are getting the 2 door and loving it!
Have to admit, the molded in color carbonized gray top is growing on me too. I hadn't consider before that it will more durable and scratch resistant than a painted top, especially considering putting gear up there and taking the 9ff and putting them back up there.

It just makes no sense that body color isn't at least an option. That drab gray is getting taken straight to a paint shop asap. Thanks Ford, for costing me an immediate expense to correct your cheap ass bean counter gray on the first new vehicle I intend to buy in 17 years.
My wife is 100% on board. We have an old 1987 Bronco that is beat all to hell, but still going and she loves it. We are both planning on a BD Mansquatch to drive into the woods for fun.
Really pathetic that a brand new Ford frame on body truck/SUV will have only a 3500 max row rating. My 1987 Bronco has double that and U-Haul has looked it up in their books and rented me car haulers to tow vehicles with it. It's a sad day when a brand new vehicle is only rated at half the...
Amen! One of my favorite cars was an RX8 I drove for 11 years rowing 6 gears with a silly grin on my face. The Bronco isn't going to rev to 9 grand or hug corners like it's on a rail, but being able to pick your own gears gives you so much more control and, for me, is so much more fun to drive.
I'm definitely getting a manual. Was willing to forego Squatch to row my own gears. Now that they have opened the door for Mansquatch... Well, who wouldn't want more power too? Wish they would offer the 2.7 manual, but I'm not waiting more years for Ford to string me along. I'm not getting any...
