The interior plastic is pure, unadulterated garbage, they scratch just by thinking about scratching them, short of that I find the build to be āacceptableā but I absolutely LOVE my Bronc.
My 22 2-door base non-sas gets nothing better than 18 or so at best and I am VERY gentle on that pedal. Stock rims/tires. I just accepted it as Iām coming from a H3 Hummer.
Unfortunately that wonāt do anything. They WILL still come on. Itās a defect in the switch logic board. The part to correct it has been reissued to ford.
Yeah this was happening on my 22 since the day I picked it up (random headlights turned on) and thought I was doing something wrong. Nope. Problem with the logic board. Unfortunately I donāt have the service bulletin number anymore, but you can probably find it on this board.
Be advised there is a KNOWN ISSUE with the headlight logic board (itās not just a regular āswitchā) wherein the headlights will randomly come on after vehicle is parked and locked.
Had same issue with my 22 and the controller was replaced. No more random headlight activation.
WOW! Happy to hear youāre ok. Your Bronco did a good job protecting you. She sacrificed herself and thatās ok, you can get āherā back again, human lives donāt work that way unfortunately.
I never minded buying my āpoor-mansā Bronco. Love it now as much as I did the day it shipped in. Happy I got the base now (and 2-door AND Area 51. Happy base model owner here!
I bought mine with the intention of keeping it forever. Not sure if anything made today will ever become a classic or not, but I plan on keeping it anyway.
I ask this question over and over again every time I read this, and itās tiring because people either donāt do research or are naive.
My response is the same; Did you think you were buying a Bentley?
Itās a Ford, capable of off-roading.
Itās just ridiculous the amount of whiny posts.
