This is exactly what I'm considering.
I want the mod top and there is enough on the standard Heritage that I like, so it's very tempting.
Late availability won't affect me much because of where I stand in line at Granger.
I'm still hovering around the high 190's, so late availability wouldn't affect me a whole lot, probably.
My original order and reservation in '21 was for a 2 Dr Wildtrak and modular top. Then the top situation surface and I 99'd it until '22 order banks opened. I swapped to Sasquatched 2 Dr...
It is possible to swap out the carpet flooring for the washout flooring in the Badlands/Black Diamond.
You would need to order the appropriate parts from a Ford dealer of find someone who would like to trade/swap.
The standard Heritage is priced decently for what you get, you just have to like the color choices offered on it.
I've been kicking around the idea of swapping to the standard version from Wildtrak, but waiting on the pricing and such.
I did watch it and what I said applies to those that may want to get something like the Hoss 3.0 instead of using the factory Sasquatch springs or Hoss 1.0 springs.
There's also the unproven information about the black modular top that has been floating around.
If it's true, there will be a bunch of 99'ers, who've been waiting for it, that will be updating their orders once order banks open for M.Y '23.
I feel my order slipping back into the high 200's if...
I'm going to venture to guess the shocks themselves are universal to 2Dr and 4Dr, unless they've done some specific valve tuning for the weight difference between them.
Icon's EXP adjustable shocks are universal across 2Dr & 4Dr. I couldn't find anything that said differently, at least.
It...
I'd venture to guess the Heritage editions will be shown at the Cruise, since they've already be revealed.
Depending on what stage of piecing together the 'Oates' is, an estimated guess would be it could, at the earliest, make it's appearance at SEMA.
I've been lurking this thread for a while now, but I do have a question of sorts.
For the outside 'wing' slotted inserts, have you considered an option to make an insert to mount fog light/ fog light combos? (similar to the set ups mostly used on the factory modular bumper)
To me, those...
I completely forgot about the group buy, but these teasers solidify my decision to pre-order them 2 weeks ago.
I now need a Bronco for them to be installed in. 😏
I don't hate the front bumper and I'm all for trying to cut/save weight, but the oval slots on the outside 'wings' just look out of place to me.
It just seems like it should've been an opening with a couple modular plate options that use the screws/bolts that are on it.
One of those plates...
There are things I'm o.k. with and things I don't care for. (2Dr only...I don't like the moar doors Broncos)
I'm not the biggest fan of white tops, but I did want the Mod top, but I'm going to put money on that the Mod top is only available on the Limited for '23.
I'm more curious about the...
They pretty much always need to be blended into adjacent panels, with the extremely rare exception of getting away with a panel paint because of body trim/moldings or windows that break up our perception and it isn't nearly as noticeable.
Tri-coats are a pain. Sure, they look good most of the...
Yeah. Sadly, if you already bought the 5 inch kit or have it installed, you can't add the 3 inch flares to it. The 5 inch fenders for it are different in that they're built so the flares can be attached and/or removed.
I really should just pre-order these and get it over with. I'm just not sure of what I'll end up doing once the '23 M.Y order banks open and if I'll change up my model and such.
