  1. Forester the better buy???

Got ya beat, I use drive similar roads down the way by Clark Mtn in a Ford Capri II for field classes. I commented in Warthog in Anza Borrego forum how the manufactures keep showing their “Outdoor” autos driving on these innocuous dirt roads. Funny though WHog probably couldn’t make it through...
  2. Forester the better buy???

Thanks, I could make quite the day of it. Drop down into Anza then head NE plus Joshua Tree
  3. B&P and Dealer Didn’t Charge For Lux Package

Just went back to B&P, yeah they jack up the base price. It is true, ” Ain’t no such as a free lunch”.
  4. B&P and Dealer Didn’t Charge For Lux Package

Nope, never reflected. Even did my own addition.
  5. B&P and Dealer Didn’t Charge For Lux Package

Dealer printed off build, it was there. I even pointed it out to them. Should have confirmation email tomorrow as sales manager had several orders to input. More than expect to get email/phone telling me of it was a mistake.
  6. B&P and Dealer Didn’t Charge For Lux Package

Placed my order today for 4 dr OBX, MIC, roof rake, sound deadening, leather, lux, 2.7 and couple other things. Ran it through B&P before going to dealer, it didn’t charge for LUX. Read option order to dealer, still no charge for LUX. Did I miss something?
  7. đź“· Warthog & Raptor spotted in CA

Damn, my stomping grounds....but I gotta chuckle a little when the car companies show their big bad boys out in these wild places where I've taken a luxury german import. Hopefully Ford was headed to the tougher stuff there...badlands maybe.
  8. Cactus Gray IS Green!

I saw a Sport at the dealer on a overcast day in So. Calif. To me it looked like a creamy light Gray with a couple drops of green added. Then I saw a GC Sport on the road on a semi cloudy day; just light Gray.
  9. Charging port locations?

Looking at the Sync 3 images/video there seems to be an extra mini port on rear of the head unit. Perhaps the "4" will have the same when not used for "dash" ports that could be used for an additional port location.
  10. Fuel Economy of OBX vs Badlands

WOW...1973 all over again:eek: My wife just brought an Audi e-Tron, so I'll make my MPG the average of Audi + Bronco MPG/2:unsure:
  11. What # out of # are you in your dealer's allocation?

    Gosch Ford Temecula CA......day 2. 69th/75
  12. Please remove the Bronze Dash from the Roast Interior!

My thoughts also. I have not seen any aftermarket wheels that I like. I’m considering doing powder coating. Prismatic powder coating has some browns/bronze that I think would be close match.
  13. How does a Noob un-Noob himself?

    Do a geology field class!
  14. Bronco tool kit engraved and included from factory [pics] đź›

Speaking of tools included with vehicle, I found this with some of my grandfathers tools. From research it's an adjustable wrench from a Model A. I thought I would mount it in Bronco and use it as an emergency glass break tool. Now I find out it's really a "Get Off Your Cell Phone Tool"
  15. Gosch Temecula

Emailed Chas at dealership. I'm a 7/14 reservation. The allocation for the dealer is 75 Broncos. I'm number 69. I asked him dealer policy on pricing; his response "In regards to pricing we are doing MSRP minus any applicable rebates/Incentives provided by Ford. No ADM."
  16. 2021 Bronco spotted with hitch bike rack (Yakima)

Especially carbon fiber frame. Kinda funny, the Big Bend SAS driving to take a couple bikes to the paved bike trail. Where as I'll drive my "mall crawler" Outerbanks with mountain bike out to the wilds.
  17. Is Engineer the New Vegan?

Geology degree...drafted maps using Rapidograph pens, upper and lower case, down stroke only. Budweiser always helped. Printing sucks now. My dad was an engineer, I drove him nuts in my thought process.
  18. In the wild: Bronco Big Bend Sasquatch in Cactus Gray 4-Door Soft Top

Do they give these poor people driving these in the wild, "Combat" pay?
