To be fair, there are a ton of people with different options on this forum. So you one set complaining about not shipping, then see a completely different set of people complaining about shipping.
I'm not saying you're wrong, just trying to give a little more perspective.
I used to take my brothers Silverado to Sams club and Lowes for things like you described. I have a 4 door bronco and It does the job without a problem. Im not sure how much you are carrying but the cargo area in the Bronco is pretty big plus you can let down the seats (I haven't need to do so...
I have a hardtop build but bought a factory soft top. Upon installation, I noticed two things missing
1. The bracket that connects the 3 bolts of the soft top to the frame
2. The plastic cover for said bolts
Does anyone have these for sale or know the parts number?
I called this from the beginning of their announcement. If a multi Billion dollar company like Ford can successfully produce hardtops in this climate (with years of having the bronco in production) what makes people think this company can produce a better and cheaper product in a year?
Some...
Keep in mind, listing for a price and selling for a price are two very different things.
KBB can tell you your Bronco is worth $100k but that doesn't mean anything if no one is buying it. The fact is, the people who are willing to pay $20k over already have their Bronco now.
Congratulations! Mine also took exactly a month from email to delivery. Although it was stuck at the rail yard for a week or two and it was in Nov/Dec (before ice mountain)
I was one of the lucky build that was able to get a 4dr Hardtop. I took delivery early December and was able to enjoy the top and doors off twice. The first time removing it, I did it with the help of my brother. The second time, I was feeling a bit more adventurous and did it myself.
It wasn't...
I may be biased as I already have my Bronco but I think I had the same mindset as before. In the grand scheme of this whole rollout, its been like a lottery. You improve your odds of "winning" by picking the right dealership, building without constraints, etc. but its all come down to chance. So...
The best advice I can give you is to drop all expectations. You have thousands of people on this site that have tried to find rhyme and reason for what Ford is doing and no one has been successful.
So many build dates pushed with no expectations. It's extremely frustrating but it's not going to...
Me. You are describing me.
I've only used 4wd once when stuck in beach sand in a rented jeep. I don't know when or where to use my different drives and at this point, I'm afraid to ask.
We live in the same town...at least I live in the same town as the wrap company you used. I'll keep an eye out of you and give you a honk I see you.
I have an A51 OBX hardtop
Go non-sas. The painted fender flares will get you a LOT of attention. Unless you're seriously off roading every week, you won't miss the front lockers.
I have the same lift and tires. I live in Ocala but I'm often in Jax Beach to visit my sister.
Nice ride! If I ever see you around, I'll give you a honk!
I just did the same. Depending on the offset of the rim, you may need slightly smaller tires than 35s to avoid rubbing at full lock. I ended to going with 285/75/r18 which gave me 34.8 inches and no rubbing.
It did take my average mpg from 20 down to 15 but it rides just as quite and smooth...
Around $400. I just lifted my OBX 2 inches. I would recommend having all your upgrades on hand before doing the install. I was increasing my tire size and had to wait for tires to come in. So there was a big wheel well gap for about 2 weeks.
If you're going bigger tires, make sure you get the...
