PLEASE HELP!!!
While on the subject and because y'all are amazing with your help, I was wondering if I maybe able to get some answers.
I have a day 1 or 2 reservation (one of the first to get a vin at my dealership). I received my vin and original build date of 6/14. It has been pushed back...
I'm from Florida and have been patiently waiting for my Bronco to arrive. I've never seen one in real life...until this trip to Denver. This is the 3rd one I've seen and it is BEAUTIFUL!!! Congratulations to the owner. Hopefully my build date won't get pushed back...again.
I'm happy for all of you with vins finally but don't forget this has been a dumpster fire. I remember the high hopes and excitement I had when I got my first build date. Less excitement on my 2nd build date. Even less on my 3rd. Zero on my 4th...
I really hope yall aren't like me and many...
I know what you mean. If I get bumped one more time, I'm switching to soft top. I realize that I'm lucky to be so far up the list and people are wanting this hardtop BAD but I want my damn bronco. My dealer said when I get it, I could sell it for thousands to some of his other customers who are...
Yeah. It varies from dealer to dealer though. He said 90% of his orders were hardtops, so his softtop allocations were getting picked up quick by ford. He said someone just made an order a few weeks ago and Ford already picked it up. I'm one of 8 that ordered a hardtop and got picked up by Ford...
Yeah that was the biggest pro for staying with the hardtop. Then it was wait time. He said there are plenty of aftermarket soft tops but not many hardtops. I decided to stick with my hardtop and wait...I did remove the paint protection just in case.
Went to my dealer today and talked with him about roofs. I have a hardtop and I'm one of his top allocations. He wants my Bronco here as bad as I do. He gave me the pros and cons of switching (I have a vin but somehow can switch tops). It's better to wait for the hardtop now if you have a vin...
When I first got my Vin, I was still able to change a few things about a week after. I changed to a hardtop (because of the free sound deadening), was able to change the seats and paint. Couldn't add the tow package though.
I'm not sure if this is or could be a potential issue or not but a Ford employee told me that a few of the F150 big screens melted because it was sitting in the sun for a few weeks.
Could this be an issue with Broncos already built?
I live in Florida and doubt temps in MI reach the levels we...
Thank you so much for this information. This is exactly what I was planning on doing with my OBX. It's great to be able to see it and take some is the guessing out of it.
If you have a VIN you have a tracker and an email that may have switched your build date. I was scheduled for a 6/28 build date but got moved to 8/16 a few weeks ago. Check your email (maybe spam. Search "Ford") It will say your scheduled production date and theres a link to track the status.
