I love running with my doors off. After getting the bronco I found that immediately the little carpet pads in the back want to fly off. Later I bought the factory rubber mats (thanks Ford points!) and they are great, but at high speeds with the top down and doors off the matts in the back...
I'm always never having this problem (0 times on my bronco, because i don't have these yet!) and can't wait to not have it in the future with these to help out!
I took my soft top off today to install these Mabett Cargo Shelf Side Covers. While off, the soft top fell from where I had set it and I noticed this broken plastic part near the front, this is the piece that holds the front part of the rear side windows in place, while the top if lifted from...
I don't know if it's accessible, but can confirm there are more than 2 settings when doing rock crawling or some of the other offroad modes. The Raptor let's you change the steering modes directly, so I think it should be something that could be changed.
What gets really confusing is the actual tongue weight varies per vehicle, and there is really no direct relationship between tongue weight capacity and towing. Towing capacity is almost entirely affected by braking power, NOT powertrain as is commonly misunderstood. Yes, powertrain is a...
Yes. I understand that, this is my point around GVWR is affected by weight on hitch (tongue weigth) but not the other way around. If I have an empty vehicle and a hitch carrier (not trailer), I'm towing nothing and the tongue weight defines how much load I can put on the hitch receiver. It's...
Huge thank you for detailing this out. I had replaced my 4" (front and rear) with kickers and the did not adjust any forscan. Now that I've followed this, it sounds WAY better!
FYI, have updated this FORSCAN sheet with this info
Sorry, I'm not following. I can see how weight on the hitch/tongue would reduce the overall payload, but not how the vehicle weight itself would affect tongue weight. Tongue weight, afaik, is based entirely on the frame/hitch strength. Not vehicle weight.
I've had an issue where the 'auto up' and putting the window all the way up would cause the window to roll itself down. I took it to the dealer and there's a reset you can do that causes the door to recalibrate where 'all the way up' is. You hold down the window down or up button for 10...
At honolulu ford? I got my badlands 2.3M order through Windward Ford in Oct. there were none, but order (which I had forgotten about) came in. I paid over MSRP, wasn't happy to. I think 6 or 7k.
I wasn't sure if anymore were coming. But 2 months later 2 more badlands 2.3L where there.
