To give my final answer @Smokey142
So here in the SF Bay Area, mine arrived at the Richmond, Ca. railyard on 5/20 and was "released by customer" on 5/24. It arrived at my dealership today, 5/30.
B6G tracker shows delivered as of today.
Ford Tracker still shows only "shipped".
BUT, if I...
Yup, I hit him up when I first heard about that. They knew nothing about it, so I sent him the article. haha https://fordauthority.com/2021/09/new-ford-bronco-customer-satisfaction-plan-will-give-money-to-dealers/
He messed with me at first...."Hey, It's here, but I thought yours was a Badlands...
WooHoo!
I just got a text msg from my sales guy. Same story, no service dept folks working today. Paperwork/Pickup scheduled for Wednesday!!!!
He said he thinks there's a bottle of whiskey inside for me as well.
Mine arrived at the yard on the 20th as well.
It was “released by customer” on the 24th
I’m hoping it’s getting loaded on a truck soon.
My sales guy thinks it could show up at any time, but thinks it'll likely be on the 1st.
This info is from Ford Chat.
I got mine from them as well. They're pretty useless for most of the track though. They showed mine was in IL still when I had already tracked it cross country. A few days post train ride, Ford chat surprisingly gave me the correct location and even included a...
Question.
After the railcars reach their destination, does the B6G Tracker indicate in this section when our rigs get loaded onto the trucks for delivery to the dealerships?
Or are we just done with the tracker at this point?
A few days after my railcar reached its destination, Ford Chat finally showed it was there. From other's experiences, it looks like the trucks will pick it up within about 5 days to a week of its arrival there.
So I haven't been checking the tracking stuff much since the rail trip ended. I'd just get frustrated and more impatient. Couldn't help it today.
First checked with CSX. "Load empty, released by customer, 5/24 9:22PM.
Then Ford chat, which had been telling me it was still in Blue Island even...
I was all excited while it was on the railcar. I was burning up that CSX automated line.
Going through this process many times a day!
Ok, what is the car initials?
CNA
That was ZNA, correct?
No
My mistake. Just say the initials of the car. You can also enter them using your telephone keypad...
LOTS of coin... I'm leaning towards no ppf.
Maybe just the ceramic, as I have no garage, and the MIC top will probably oxidize badly like all plastic car parts.
I plan on having the Kavaca IR installed too. Debating ppf/ceramic coating as well.
The shop says do the ppf and then have the ceramic applied over that.
Worth it? Hmmm that is the question.
