Ok, I finally located the Kuat driver side pivot at etrailer.com
I figured I'd have a bit less room with the larger sasquatch spare.
Plus if I ever get a cargo platform for it, I could possibly do a camp kitchen or something similar to use with the swing gate open. Kind of like this setup
So I am attempting to install a Midland MXT575 GMRS radio.
I’ve never done anything like that before. Midland MXT575 head unit has no controls on it. They’re all on the handset, so I wanted to mount it under the center console.
Whew. Mounted. Antenna plugged in and mounted. Power wiring plugged...
Did a couple of quick easy mods yesterday.
Added a matte screen protector to that "TV"(as my nephews call it) in the middle of the dash.
And to make my soon to be common Cactus Gray rig a bit more personalized, I added subdued flag decals to the rear side windows. It was easier than I thought...
I love this!!
It wouldn't make sense for me, but this is your story and it's so fitting and cool!
Naysayers can just chill, haha, but I think you're gonna get lots more positive feedback than otherwise.
Pick-up in SF South Bay Area (Santa Clara) because I don't want to have to box and ship. Not trying to make $$ off of these, I just want them to go to someone who can use them.
$100 OBO
PSA: I've been trying to figure out what this is for with no luck until just a few minutes ago. I did a search for "what is this" haha.
It's a dead plug in the cargo area, for when you have the hardtop off and need a place to plug the electrical and fluid hookups.
If everyone has been updating their lines on the spreadsheet, it shows 55 "built" emails, with 28 showing as not having received it, or blank.
38 show as delivered and 45 as not, or blank.
Any word from your dealer yet? Mine was 10 days from being released at the railyard, (not necessarily the date of arrival) to delivery at dealership.
Should be real soon in any case!!
It's a beauty!
That last bit where there's no way to track is excruciating.
29 days is a looooong time, but still way better than a dirt mountain chip hold.
Congrats!!
(looks like we're over 42% delivered now in this group)
I have the straps as well.
The Step/Sliders went on today, (professionally installed). RokBlokz mudflaps arrived today to go on soon. Midland 575 radio should also be arriving soon.
