It was the 90s? I would have bet money it was from the 80s. That squared off look with the large ground effects says 80s to me, but that style probably made it into the 90s.
I’m not dogging Jeep. I own a Gladiator. But those fenders did not age well. Probably will be collectible in 10 years.
Pretty cool. I love seeing how the tech works. Would have been cool if they made it a part of the Sasquatch package. Getting a base model with all the off road goodies would be amazing.
I was saying they could add a flare over the existing door. Not change it. But your right, it doesn’t have to follow the raptor styling. Would be cool if they did though.
the 4runner’s rear flare goes over the rear door. It isn’t noticeable. I think it is possible. I do agree a raptor bronco should have the fenders flared out. It just seems like that’s a raptor signature look.
In any case, I’m guessing this will be one sick SUV. Look forward to seeing.

Yeah, the base Gladiator has baby wheels. Plus it is so long, it visually makes it worse. But so do most base models. Just look at the bronco base, it has baby wheels too. But you can put 33s on a stock base gladiator without lifting it.
I think a Bronco truck would be great. It does seem impractical for Ford, since they already have a complete truck lineup. I own a Gladiator and I see the awesomeness that comes with a convertible off-road focused truck. It is a family vehicle, does truck stuff, and is a fun.
The Gladiator...
Nice, then ford did it right. Yes, I have seen some people do 35s on these rims. I don’t like going out of specs on things. Just makes me uncomfortable.
its rare for me to ever like a rim form factory. No matter what color it is. I do like some of these bronco wheels. But I’m curios to how wide they are. I just bought a Gladiator with 33s. The rims are grey and I love the look of them. But they are only 7.5” wide so I can’t keep them if I move...
The bronco is going to do so well. It’s everything a 4Runner owner wished the 4Runner had. All the cool Jeep modularity, factory off road capabilities, removable top and doors, but maintains the 4Runners everyday drivability and practicality.
One great thing about jeeps is that all the bolts...
That’s not going to happen. Jeep could have easily moved the mirrors to the same area as the bronco. They come off with the doors because it’s a 100% off road rig. All it’s compromises are made to error on the off road side.
Plus Jeep owners can buy after market mirrors that work when the doors...
