I've owned two 2-door Wranglers in the past, but love the 4 door look far more due to the real estate it takes up. The lift, the stance...just looks good. It all boils down to what you like. I like to pack down and head out, so the extra room and convenience of simply opening the back doors...
For those complaining about how easy it would be to break in and steal stuff...c'mon. It's a soft top!! A razor knife and you're in. That's why you have insurance in case someone ever steals or damages your vehicle AND, why would you leave something of great value in your ride?? I'm assuming...
This thing looks like a pain in the ass and on top of that, it doesn't lay flat enough with all the way down. I think I'll stick with the MIC top and throw in a bimini for summer cruising at the beach.
I used to live in the Outback Australia and owned a Toyota Landcruiser. In fact, many of the Aussies drive those down there as they can take the extreme heat and they're very dependable. I've never owned a Ford, but I'm digging the new "box'ie/tough" look more so than the Wrangler. However...
Well, if that happens, Ford will be without one customer at least! I think there are many people on the fence as it is already...given that we may not get to test drive it and various shortfalls on the rush to get the Bronco out the door (like MIC hardtop, ugly seat colors for certain models...
Thank you and back at ya! Here's an oldie of me with a very young Darius Rucker (Hootie and the Blowfish) at a USO concert in Tazsar, Hungary...prior to rolling out to Bosnia in '95.
Nowadays, $700 seems to be a bargain for new vehicles...unless you're wanting a Toyota Corolla...and those are starting to creep up in price! My build for the Badlands is coming out at $60k...which is about $1000 a month. That's hard to stomach given that it's a Ford! lol
Nice looking truck! I was just looking at those myself since my Tacoma is 11 years old with almost 200k miles. My wife wants to get something that we can take the top off of and cruise the beach, so the Bronco seemed to be right on time. However, I agree with you. I'm not a fan of how Ford...
I received an initial email. When I responded, the dealer's so-called "Bronco Rep" said that the email went out by mistake and that they had no updates. Granted, that was a month ago...but I haven't heard squat since. Sheehy Ford of Warrenton, VA....where you at? lol
