Have you only had to put washers on the last install you are mentioning? Some worked without washers?
Also, I havent seen this question asked yet. But if you have the Ford rubber floor mats used with carpet flooring, can you still use the OEM rubber floor mats on top of the Armorlite?
Well, we found a Badlands Bronco that checks all the boxes of options wanted. With the exception of the damn leather package. We are considering getting it and ordering the Armolite flooring for it. Tough decisions to waste money on something we didnt want for an option.
Yeah, I agree. I thats why I was wondering what the actual leather part of this "leather" package was. Seems like its minimal.
And they added cup holders to the MGV on 24s? How about that. Didnt know that!
What part of the seat is actual leather then? Cause visually I cant tell. It looks like they pretty much are identical to the MGV, even look like the same material through most of the seat. If it wasnt for the power seats and the fold down cup holder, I wouldnt be able to tell they were even...
As someone who’s owned the MGV in the new Bronco and leather in my other Fords, the MGV is no different to keep clean than leather. They both are super easy to clean and both require maintenance and treating. Hell, most “leather” these days is mostly just vinyl anyways. I just wish more than...
I'm looking at getting another Badlands, but seems most of the dealers out there have or are ordering with the leather package on 4 doors. My two door Badlands had MGV and liked the washout floor aspect which I really wanted when searching now.
My main question would be if Ford offered the...
If the difference is sound deadening head liner, its totally not worth $500. I had it on my 2 door and its pretty worthless. If anything just collects dust. I would definitely not be ordering it with it if I had to do it again. If its free, Id leave it, but definitely not a $500+ value in my...
Also, I am still curious what the difference is in the two molded in color tops are. Especially considering there is such a big price difference. If anyone knows, I’d love to hear it!
Colors like race red have been around for over a decade, non metallic clear or tri coat required. They use some of these colors like Race Red on other Ford models (Super Duty, Mustang, Bronco just as a few), but yet they are still charging for it. Im sure to your point something happened on the...
I dont disagree with this. However, this should be an upcharge across the board for all their paint. Not just raising prices on everything other than black, silver, gray and white.
Ford has NEVER charged just because a paint is metallic and have bought several new vehicles in the last 20 years. Usually only charged if it was a tri coat paint or tinted clearcoat. This is new and shady of them. Shadow black, iconic silver and Carbonized gray are all metallic clearcoat...
Couldn't agree more! Although I do genuinely love Eruption green and Hot Pepper Red. Those two colors are amazing! However, it would be nice to have some other options such as an orange of some kind (not cyber orange/yellow they called orange before).
I just believe that unless you have a tricoat paint that require extra materials/steps or maybe a one off tinted clearcoat thats only used for one color, there is absolutely no reason to be charging for a paint color based on the shade of color. It truly is an all time low for Ford these days it...
I agree. I first noticed this before the build and price on a window sticker for an Eruption green Bronco. It showed it was a $295 option. I was super confused at that point. Just find it ridiculous that Ford now charges for ANY color other than black, white, gray and silver. Pretty crappy on...
Ford seems to be at it again for price increases. If you look at the prices I have put on there, they are now charging for almost every one of their paint colors. Pretty ridiculous really. They obviously aren't investing in proper website designers with that extra money. They cant even get...
As I mentioned, others have said while its in gear, while moving, engine off, that you can not restart it while its moving. So I was wondering if it was in neutral, with the clutch pressed in while moving, if it would start.
I couldn't agree more with you! I wasnt defending Ford or anything...
