  2. Rubicon Trail is now passable.

You are right on with your thinking. It’s definitely something you need to grow into as a driver and vehicle. Try Eagle lakes trail , Dear Valley or Slick rocks. Experience helps a ton ,ground clearance on 33” is going to be a challenge. Gold Country Broncos would be a good place to learn your...
  3. Steering Gear Broken

It’s not cheap but aftermarket is the way to go. 74weld has a great housing you can have your steering racks internals installed into.
  4. 37" Copper STT Pro tires installed on Everglades Bronco

Great tires, have been extremely happy with my 37x13.5.

That’s awesome! It’s fun to take something different. Once made through with a stock crew cab f350, had to drive in reverse the last few miles after the transmission went out.

1” over Sasquatch using 4wp coilovers. 3” body lift with some trimming to clear 37x13.5 Cooper STT. No cv upgrades. For steering, Broncbuster bushing and brace for little over a year but just received the 74weld rack and Icon tie rods that I need to install.

The FJ40 was fairly stock, besides being spring over on 35”. I hate seeing vintage iron take any damage, but he wasn’t afraid to tackle big rocks.
  11. Rubicon Trail is now passable.

It was a good Father’s Day trip. Turned around at Ellis creek due to going against the flow of traffic. Sunday afternoon everyone is heading back out to Loon.
  12. Rubicon Trail is now passable.

It was a last minute trip. A clean FJ40 took a hard flop on its side 2 Toyotas on 60’s being towed out with broken drive lines. A few new wranglers limping out with broken fronts, and then that poor wrangler broke on the stair steps on the slabs. I was only on the trail Sunday can’t say what...

  15. Rubicon Trail is now passable.

Snow has finally melted enough to make it to Buck Island. ( Can’t confirmed anything past that, rumor has it you can make it to Tahoe) But be aware the trail is wet and muddy. Typically busy weekend with slippery conditions causing a lot of broken vehicles, axles and drivelines mainly.
  16. Boat Launch Question (Tow Question)

Tons of variables, I launch my 17’ inboard and my tires don’t get wet.
  17. Conquering the Steering Nightmare with Upgraded Bronco Steering Rack Housing

I don’t know why @ScLeCo wants to do that, but that exactly what I am doing. Raptors don’t even come close to what a Bronco with upgraded steering on portals can do. The two biggest weakness of 6Gs, Raptors included, is steering and ground clearance. I want to be able to drive out to the...
  18. Source for body panel clips?

Amazon sells a great little kit for body mount fasteners. Not the best quality but does the job.
  19. Went to a technical trail. Did I do damage to my underside?

Your not wheeling a G6 hard enough, if your not scraping the belly. Nice job!
