Not sure if this helps. After checking all the electrical connections and software on the swaybar disconnect. The dealership ended up replacing my entire unit at 12,000 miles. Hopefully they can do the same for you and not try little things each time.
Great write up, it should be helpful for a lot of people. Also watched your suspension comparisons video , you did a nice job comparing and not selling one over the other.
If you are still looking the Handlery Hotel in San Diego letās you park for $20 a day. Few friends leave there truck and trailer there when going to Baja.
Just finished watching the video. First the group interested in buying portals donāt commute in there Bronco. Second , once you modified your bronco to the point to add portals itās probably loud. If the biggest selling point is how loud/bad your competitors product is and not the quality of...
Second time I seen this, the bronco will send power to the front for a short time and you get 3 wheel drive. Once it senses the dead tire it cuts power to the front and you loose your goat modes also.
Thanks for the compliment. Running Rubicon hundreds of times does help.
As far as the 4wp coil overs been very happy with the performance. Besides the use on the rock , they performed great in Baja. I personally would have never bought anything from 4wp, but at the time they where the only one...
That is one of best comments I seen in awhile. I like your humor šš¼!
The Rubicon eats front axles up, no mater if it is a Ford, Jeep, or Toyota. Ground clearance, throttle control and knowing when to stop is the key.
Have the exact build but with Sasquatch. Only thing your really giving up is the 4.7 gears. Tires, flares, suspension and, bumpers most people swap out anyways. If you really need it , message me I have it storage.
Physically no different, but this was a short ride compared to most of my Rubicon trips and my 74weld rack is still using my old 2.0 internals. Mentally I didnāt worry about it breaking anymore.
Everyone made it out safe, so I would say it was a successful trip. Lesson learned, a 14ā+flat head screwdriver and a 2ā pry bar would have helped speed up the trail repairs.
The Goodyears a cheep light weight tires. There has been plenty of post on here about the quality. On my last trip to Baja , 7 flats all stock Goodyears.
