  2. Forscan help requested

Get a wildtrak and look at the code maybe. See which lines are different. They have everything except a sway bar disconnect I think. Oh and look at the code on a Sasquatch to see which codes line up with front and rear. If you can find code for a basequach, it might be best. They are...
  3. Forscan Screwup Armageddon

Figured it out. Canceled license and then re-activated and it didn’t pop back up. (Not sure if it worked because I also updated to the 2.4 beta version after ChatGPT recommended that as a solution). After it didn’t pop up, I hopped into the module and switched it to original. It does pop up...
  4. Forscan Screwup Armageddon

I don't know how bad this is, but I'm new to Forscan so to me this looks pretty bad... I am new to forscan. i am using it on my 2022 ford bronco 2.3 auto base. it doesn't have a locker, so i wanted to do it factory, so my plan was to change the module in forscan so that it would recognize a...

I am new to forscan. i am using it on my 2022 ford bronco 2.3 auto base. it doesn't have a locker, so i wanted to do it factory, so my plan was to change the module in forscan so that it would recognize a locker on a hero switch which i bought...

The Badlands wheels are indeed my favorite as well, IMO
  7. DIY Regearing. Help!

Thanks for the replies folks :) I talked to a shop nearby and I think I'm just gonna shell out the money to have one of them regear my extra rear on the bench and then bolt it up in my garage.
  8. DIY Regearing. Help!

Hi there! Very soon I plan on regearing my bronco from 3.73 to 4.46 with an eld. I might have jumped the gun because when I saw a rear sas axle for 600, I bought it. The right shaft is bent though but the housing and carrier look fine. I am going to buy the front fsd off a guy for 100 bucks...
  9. Mabett 2.3 transmission skid install/review

Anyone interested in selling theirs to me? lol. Mabett doesn’t make them anymore
  10. Adding Rear Electric Locking Differential: Factory-ish

Which shafts did you end up using for your build? Since you just swapped a locker into the standard axle correct? which shafts were the proper length?
  11. 23 Non-Sas BB Adding Rear Locker

I was watching the ARB air locker install and did some digging and it looks like they are meant for non-sas axles ... wouldn't it stand to reason then that if you replace the non-lock with a locker that you can then use the same shafts? The shaft length difference seems to coincide with the fact...
  12. Forscan help requested

Did you install a locker into your original axle or did you go the "buy the whole axle and swap it in" route?
  13. Forscan help requested

Found this on the forums. It would enable you to see locker icon on screen... here is link to thread (it's on page 4): https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/adding-rear-electric-locking-differential-factory-ish.88656/page-4 "All, I wanted to add to the content of this thread that...
  14. Forscan help requested

How did it end up working out for you, Wintoon? I plan to add a rear locker someday too. I have base non-sas. I want to add rear and make it factory. What did your process look like with Forscan? Thanks, Mike.
  15. DO NOT ORDER FROM ARCHETYPE RACING

Archetype has a new website now .... archetypecomposites.com I wonder if that was to skirt all of the customer issues somehow and start fresh lol
  16. Adding Rear Electric Locking Differential: Factory-ish

I'm thinking of doing a sas diff swap to front and rear, so both with lockers and the 4.46. I currently have a base with the auto 2.3 at a 3.73 gear ratio, as well as no 4A drive on the transfer case button. Can I do the switch on Forscan do you think, or would this not be possible? I'd love to...
  17. Adding Rear Electric Locking Differential: Factory-ish

Nice modding. very cool. I was wondering why you bought the used axle and then shaved down the axle shafts if your bronco already has axle shafts that you could just shave to fit the ranger locker? I'm guessing I'm missing something. Hope I don't sound too dumb lol
  18. Adding Rear Electric Locking Differential: Factory-ish

Think I'd have to scour for a minute to find the 4.27 axle, and then I'd have to re-gear the front as well.... maybe i'll just add a locker without replacing the axle
  19. Adding Rear Electric Locking Differential: Factory-ish

Maybe I'm a noob, but do you think I could just buy a 3.73 rear axle w/rear locker from a ranger and swap my axle out? I have the 3.73 ratio on mine, so I wouldn't have to regear. Or am I crazy?
  20. Should I swap a 2.7 BD Coilover onto my 2.3 base?

Ok I'm going to pull the trigger. I do have the modular bumper so that I hope will help to make up for the weight difference. We'll see. I'll post pics before and after.
