Well, I was being really careful and bracing my hands to keep control of the cutoff wheel, but it bound up and nicked the brake line. If I had really been thinking I could have temporarily bent the brake line out of the way. Ugh Would you be concerned about this? Not sure how thick they are.

I went ahead and upgraded to the Rough Country carrier. Pretty inexpensive and they told me it would resolve the spacer issue.

I watched a video where someone was installing a hidden winch on a bronco. He said he didn't need the spacers that come with the hidden winch kit. I am asking this question because at the same time I am installing a Blueox baseplate. I guess I could put the shims behind the baseplate...

I live a distance away from a dealership or tire shop. I recently purchased a set of 33 inch takeoffs from another bronco. I was wondering how difficult it is to de-pressure, the tire and switch TPMS sensors myself?

So that’s only required on the spare? The others will fit with no spacers. If so, I could upgrade the tire carrier as an option???

Found a like new set off of a Badlands. Will they fit a base Bronco without rubbing????

Thank you. I see you have a baseplate as well. Good info. I have the mod bumper, so while I have ordered the winch, I am a little concerned about the bumper spacers fitting because I actually have to cut the factory bumper brackets.

I am looking at installing the rough country hidden winch setup for my 2.3L Bronco. I've been trying to get a view of how the winch skid fits in relationship to factory or off road skid plates. While we do not rock crawl, we do want protection under our bronco. Can anyone share perspective...
