I file this under people complaining to complain, like many other options.....which is the key word.
Don't like the option, don't check the box and/or just let the trial expire.
For those that do want the option, I'm glad they're finally giving it. I was disappointed that Bronco didn't have...
Bronco Sport just got a refresh for 2025....it had a minor grille change, got a new larger interior screen and button arrangement, and added a Sasquatch package. But visually it's not much different.
Besides, this is clearly a different body altogether, which would be a new model, not a...
Uh.....Sideways? with the handle that's in the picture.... just like Bronco......?
The Chinese Edge grew with its redesign, so this seems like it'll be a tweener product likely replacing Escape and the outgoing Edge (the one that was like ours).
Correct, BS is also on C2.
This is a completely unique design all around, and looks bigger than ours in most dimensions.
I don't know if we'll eventually get this direct model, but it'd be a good Escape replacement for our market too.
It's probably C2 based, which underpins Bronco Sport, Escape, Corsair, Maverick, Nautilus, and the Chinese Edge (our outgoing Edge rode on Ford's CD4 platform). That would allow it to share a hybrid powertrain, and is probably using Nautilus' setup.
Obviously it's a unique design vs. our Bronco...
I'd also argue that if there are enough complaints about it, this is the type of thing they could add via a software update to add numbers to the gauges.
I don't know if they'd honor you ordering one under warranty unless it had something like cracks (unless they've told you they'd replace the one you have for the issues you described).
Mine started developing cracks near the side window, so they replaced it.
If they were to try this, they'd have to rebody it - new body and interior, otherwise it'd be laughed at.
That said, Genesis did just show off this X Gran Equator concept along the same line of thought, which I actually like....
Genesis Must Build This Luxury Off-Roader
It'd be nice if they let you choose a loading screen (I'd keep the rocks too).
No, mine doesn't do that and never has (I have a '22).
Sure, water would get in to a door you're opening when you open it......my point was more that with every window dropping, even ones you're not opening could...
I've seen these threads before, and I still don't understand why people would want this "feature".....Sounds great when it's raining out to pop all the windows open upon unlock so water dumps in.....
Every industry and brand will do that....to single that out as a Bronco-specific thing is weird.
Nothing is stopping you from ordering a base model with zero options if that's what you truly want......yet your profile says you got a Badlands with Sasquatch?? That has plenty of "luxury...
Looks like Bronco proper's mirror arm to me, with a deeper panel groove.
Just because you don't like the idea of nice features in this vehicle doesn't mean they shouldn't be an option. Make them an option/stick them in the lux package then, but at least give the option for those that want...
My dashcam came with a tool, and I squeezed it between the panel and the windshield without pulling all the panels off, and I have it plugged into the dash power port.
