If you had read my post, that's exactly what I said. Our US outgoing Edge was on the CD4 platform, which had nothing to do with C2. The Chinese model Edge, which we don't get here, is on C2.

Bronco Sport's platform has nothing to do with the Edge. Bronco Sport is on Ford's C2 platform. Our Edge was on Ford's CD4 platform. Unless you're referring to the Chinese spec Edge, which is on C2, but we don't get here.

Bronco Sport is much smaller than Edge or Bronco. If they want a similar size from Ford, Bronco would be it.

I didn't say the entire jump is due to Edge. I said some. Most customers don't care about the offroading stuff, and look at 2 row SUVs. Yes, Edge was a FWD based model, vs. Bronco. Not to mention Bronco is less car-like. BUT, an Outer Banks type model might appeal to some Edge buyers...

Yeah, I just feel like the bumpers don't match anything and look unfinished/like they were sitting on the ground nearby and slapped on at the last minute, rather than looking integrated. They're typically used more on high end convertibles (BMW, Mercedes, etc). That said, this is a one off...
