I wanted max articulation after leaving a chunk of control arm behind on a trail in the last truck. Badlands, non sasquatch. I wanted all the hero switches filled in. I didn’t want 18” wheels. I was alarmed by the bronze and blue dashes and Badlands was at least a standard gray/yellow...
So as fall proceeded I experimented. I know now that if the outside temp reads 61 or above - Recirc will stay on unless in window defogger mode only.
Any time below 61… which is nearly all year here, turns off in 1 minute. Wildfire smoke at 54? Tough sh*t. Diesel? Too bad. Dusty trail people...
So I like to cut the wheel over slightly as part of getting ready to turn, just tug slightly - and when the wheel is "dead" from the engine being off that resistance immediately makes me think something is broken which leads to annoyance and frustration.
We did that one. 1) bring sunblock, you’ll be standing outside during discussions. 2) they did add coffee but you’ll be waiting a bit at the gate. 3) you’ll have to wait at the gate for them to come down to you at start time. If things are going well, it’s quick. Our day was rough. 4) make sure...
They last at least as long as the base warranty. My point is it’s in the design of the Bronco to turn off constantly at every light. Are the choices ideal? No. Catastrophic? No.
@EIGHTLUG and Archetype Racing. I call it “truck jewlery.” I love the rail, it’s the thing everyone wants to know about and it’s held to tolerances tighter than some tools I’ve made at work.
The big boxes are often going to go with their official lookup ONLY.
Anything else they think of as an unacceptable risk. I had 33” on my Sport Trac and Costco wouldn’t touch it.
