The windshield on a Bronco will chip from even a hard shell beetle bug hitting it. But after installing ECO Shield haven’t hard any issues since. And that’s also many rocks that have banged off the windshield. The best 160.00 I ever spent.
Great idea but very pricey. So basically you are paying 1000.00 for the convenience of not having to remove windows each time you want the top down. I have used the softtop safari curtain that serves the same purpose. Bad part is it not ment to be used when driving. My concern is Velcro will dry...
At the age of 60 I did my own trans service. I did change the pan with a PPE so next time all I have to do is remove the drain plug.
tips: use a transfer pump to suck out old fluid. Vevor sells them cheap
You can then measure the amount that came out.
note: if 6 qts came out don’t think to...
I used a company called
Customtirecovers.com
They made it fit my tire size
305/70/17 and the rear camera hole is tight fitting so the rear camera is never blocked.
very good material “ marine grade”
There is a company called muc-off that makes a battery operated power sprayer. I have seen motocross riders use it to clean their dirtbikes so I bought one for my Bronco. At my beach house I don’t always have access to a house so I use this power washer. It will take off the big stuff and then...
I will let you know in advance that the Turbo Smart BOV does not fit in the CVFAb charge pipe. They have incorrect milling specs and are off by 1.1 mm and it won’t seal. The reason the OE BOV works is because they are a plunger type and when installed it holds the plunger partially open. I had...
Hey I would be interested in buying a set of these from you.
I have the same situation and have my Wolf Box camera mounted on my 3rd brake light. It vibrates to much and makes the camera shaky. I would Zelle you money in advance.
Sorry about a late response on this. But if you have a 2.3 set of CVF charge pipes and try to install a fixed (BOV ) like TurboSmart it will not seat in the pipe correctly. If you are using the OE BOV that is a plunger type BOV so while it does work I can tell you that it stays partially open at...
If you want an easy solution. Look at Salt Shift rust shield. Easy to apply (regular spray bottle) and leaves no sticky film and takes about 10 minutes to apply. It’s says it will last a year but I have gone 2 years. And it cures with a shiny finish.
I just had mine replaced. First time I engaged it on the snow light started flashing and service soon light. They had to replace the unit due to an electrical problem in the unit. Took them 3 days which was quick considering they had to order the part. 12,500 miles on mine
If you ever plan on producing something like this let me know. I have 30 plus years in the parts and service (automotive manufacturing) industry and can help with design and product field product reporting. I worked with a lot of product vendors when I was with KIA accessories development.
There are a lot of us soft top owners that have Bimini top under our soft top. Can you make a simple insert (mat like this) that can lay on top of the Bimini mesh that can be easily inserted and removed? The thought is in winter it would help keep the cabin warmer and less road noise. And when...
Absolutely time. In fact I did mine at 7,000 and it was dirtier than it should have been and was never filled to the correct level from the factory. I also installed the PPE trans pan so next time all I have to do is a drain and fill.
