  1. Dealership telling me to set an order appointment next week?

I just got off the phone with my dealership, they said I need to come in next week to order and that they only had 37 appointments available. I thought actual orders were taking place in December. But when I asked about that the sales managers said, "Nope, Ford has bumped that up." I also asked...
  2. Where are you in the reservation line?

Since Ford said they will honor reservations in the order they were received, let's see if we can find who the first in line is. Here are the rules you can only comment if you tie or beat the previous post. I'll start. I got my confirmation email on the 13th at 8:32 PM (So 32 minutes after...
  3. Whats special about the first edition?

I was about to post something similar. The FE looks like nothing more than a fully loaded Badlands. I think Ford missed the mark with the FE. Sure they will sell out, but people will literally be paying for badging and stickers. I don't know how collectible that will end up being in 20 years...
  4. **VOTE HERE** Top color choice for your 2021 ford BRONCO

Ford will only sell the cyber orange to guys named Kyle, and it will come with a year's supply of Monster.
  5. Homecoming! Launch Broncos (4 Door Cactus Gray & 2 Door Cyber Orange) on public display at Michigan Assembly Plant

True I image at least the passenger side will have a seat with a lever that throws the seat all the way forward and possibly up. Doesn't matter too much, I won't be sitting back there. More likely than not I'll just take them out.
  6. Homecoming! Launch Broncos (4 Door Cactus Gray & 2 Door Cyber Orange) on public display at Michigan Assembly Plant

Getting into the back seats of the 2door looks like a monumental task. I hope those seats are removable.
  7. Homecoming! Launch Broncos (4 Door Cactus Gray & 2 Door Cyber Orange) on public display at Michigan Assembly Plant

It looks like Ford will only see it to customers named Kyle and it comes with a year's supply of Monster energy drink.
  8. Homecoming! Launch Broncos (4 Door Cactus Gray & 2 Door Cyber Orange) on public display at Michigan Assembly Plant

Brown and black.... eek... to each their own. Aside from taste though, black seats on a convertible is unbearable, hopefully they have some grey or tan upholstery options. Not too light as to be hard to keep clean, but also not black or dark brown.
  9. Color Variation between models.

Hopefully Ford dealers will have physical examples of the paint in showrooms, even if it's just in a brochure, before order time. Even if the colorizer wasn't just a cartoon you can't trust your computer/phone monitor. RGB color (screens) is just different the CMKY color (paint).
  10. OXFORD WHITE THREAD!!!! if you’re choosing Oxford White lemme know. I think it’s the best color available at the moment.

I really wanted a flat grey (jetfighter, cement, whatever) or a desert tan. Outside of white, red and black I think all the colors are on a scale from meh to ugly. Area 51, is it grey? Blue? Green? The yellow-orange and the velocity blue makes it look like it just drove off the set of a Monster...
  11. Area 51 thread

Oof, ford didn't really knock the colors out of the park. I was very excited about the Area51 at first glance because I thought it was straight up grey, like the Toyota cement grey. The slight hint of blue kills it for me. I just feel like it's in between two colors, and in a bad way. I like...
  12. Unlock Goat Modes With Software, Tuner, Programmer?

It does surprise me that the manual transmission will have the exact same modes as the automatic. I don't know what an ECO or Sport mode could possibly contribute to someone driving a stick.... maybe some level of traction control?
  13. GOAT Modes

These make sense with an automatic transmission...
  14. GOAT Modes

A lot of that sounds like it would be completely wasted on rig with a manual transmission. Particularly ECO and sport.
  15. Sport mode causing me to switch from badlands to wildtrak

Considering the GOAT modes are also sold with the manual trans, I can't imagine any of them only control transmission timing. I am surprised that the automatic and manual will both be coming with the exact same GOAT modes. Wouldn't a standard "sport" mode be meaningless on a manual?
  16. Base Model Bronco Thread

that $6K plus is mostly engine and transmission cost (Wildcat is V6/auto standard, the Badlands is the 4/manual standard). Upgrading the badlands to Sasquatch won't cost as much as other trims because the badlands already has everything the sasquatch has except the 2 inch lift and 35s. The...
  17. Unlock Goat Modes With Software, Tuner, Programmer?

GOAT modes will do things like automatically lock differentials or automatically disconnect and reconnect the stabilizer bar. Things that are not standard on every trim... so not just a software thing.
  18. 4 cylinder 4 door? Really?

I specifically questioned the 2.3 in the 4door Bronco. Nothing more nothing less. The assumptions made from there have been impressive. Believe it or not I'm still leaning toward buying a Bronco (2door) with the 2.3. Just because I've had some discussions about possible other engines I'd like...
