Wow, mine doesn't seem so bad now. Little rattles I expect, but big ones, not so much. I'm going to pull the interior hinge bolts and LockTite them next week. I'm also going to contact HammerBuilt.
My tailgate starting making a "creaking" noise about a month ago. I installed a Hammerbuilt tailgate reinforcement bracket about a year ago. I'm running 37" Nitto tires, so they are heavier than stock. I've had the Nittos for over 2 years and no issues or sounds. During deer season I run it...
So you "don't" feel that it has added any rigidity? I'm looking for a solution to minimize the body twist when running over rough terrain. I have a soft top.
Edit: I was throwing the packaging out today and found the "missing" screws and fasteners. They were trapped under a flap in the bottom of the box. I should've torn the box apart when I first got it!
Overall, after all the BS, it's very solid. Ran around town all afternoon at all speeds and no rattles. And feels very solid when you grab on it and pull. I bought velcro molle straps to attach items that I'll do this week.
I have a soft top, so not sure what you're asking about. But I think...
Okay, got them installed this morning. Took longer than I had hoped, about two hours. Some trial and error on how things went together. That doesn't count the hour I spent at Lowes yesterday buying screws, washers and nuts that were not included.
The one installed is the second one I ordered. I...
Interesting. I hadn't seen these, but I ordered and expect delivery today for these metal (aluminum) molle panels. I figure they will protect the sides and add functionality. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BJ6WQ4NR?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
I'm thinking of doing the same thing. What did you find behind the plastic outer surface? I'm wondering if I should take the rear bumper off to do this.
I have "standard" non-modular bumpers and I'm looking at replacing them. I found a post on here that showed how to remove the front bumper, but can't find anything on removing the rear one. I don't want to tear it up. If someone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly...
Dumb question here, but how can you tell if you have the halogen taillights or the LED? There are two different Curt wiring harnesses. My sticker says "Headlamps LED". I have a Base Sasquatch and going to add the Curt hitch.
