I think it would be awesome to check out in the fall. Not on this trip but I did go to the B-52 crash site several years ago. I forgot that was there till I was on the way out and saw a sign for it.

Yeah it's crazy how fast some of them are going.

I didn't do any fishing but people come from all over the world to paddle and fish all these rivers and lakes.

That place is called Michaud Farms and is a popular place to launch from. There is a tiny little ranger station there but a big field and area to park in.

I agree it is one of the under appreciated states it seems like. In my opinion it's the best state on the east coast. Forests. Mountains. Ocean. The coastline of Maine is incredible. It has it all.

If you have the time and patience should learn and do it yourself. It's not hard. Just takes time.

I said it there was an actual road with a designated named sign just like the other camp spots. I didn't just randomly make a trail to some spot to go take photos in the river.
