  1. Why does the rear middle seat have that large bump out?

"We need common-sense, high-capacity cupholder reform, and we need it now. If we could save just one seat from unimaginable hump, wouldn't it be worth it?" I think that's how internet progress gets made, right?
  2. 06/27/22 Build week group

Somebody probably does know, but does someone on this forum know? Likely not. What we do have is tons of anecdotal evidence of our own experiences. I had the same thing happen to me. The 6G tracker said "awaiting shipment" first, then it was 2-ish days until the backdoor link showed the same...
  3. Surprise! Your Bronco is here!

I wish you could have somehow recorded the dealer's surprise-pikachu face when you rolled in with that and traded it for yours. Haha
  4. 06/27/22 Build week group

Aha! Mine came in probably at the same time yours did. And fuggin LOL... Northern Southern! Hilarious. It's Norfolk Southern. We have a Northwest Highway that makes a loop around the city. So out there on part of it, there's a SE Northwest Highway sign. That makes me laugh every time I see it.
  5. UPDATE: After 2 years of waiting and only a week left, I think I'm going to pass on the Bronco

+1. Buy first, ask questions about what to do when you have all of the data about the full Bronco experience. You're not going to lose money on this thing when people are still scratching & clawing trying to get MY'22s. Wildtraks are highly desirable.
  6. AREA 51 Bronco Club

VERY cool! I think a WT is the only trim package I haven't seen in the wild. Tons of the others though. A51 looks fab on that kit. Really enjoying our color choice!
  7. PRP Seat Covers Look Great in my Base SAS 2 door!

Thanks so much for summarizing your experience! I thought Katzkins were going to be a no-brainer for mine, but you've mentioned a lot of compelling reasons to consider this as an alternative.
  8. PRP Seat Covers Look Great in my Base SAS 2 door!

Ooh, interesting! Those look great! How does the MGV feel, and have you had the chance to feel the OEM Bronco MGV in comparison? Also what was your installation experience like? Obviously I'm considering several options for seat covers for my own, so I appreciate you guinea-pigging these as an...
  9. Did any of you with Factory orders arrive with the unlucky 'your vehicle was selected at random for road testing following assembly' sticker?

I haven't hung out on the transmission forum side of B6G, but if this is the case and you order a 7MT that has NOT had this quality check done, I'd be pretty frustrated by that. Frankly, if I see one of these stickers on mine, I'll feel a bit better about the extended time between tear tags...

The main thing that's spurring my interest in that level of tracking is the last-minute stuff about everything surrounding the Bronco. - Telling my boss that I'm taking off whatever day is my Dealer Day. - Getting all my junk out of my current vehicle. - Getting Carmax/Carvana/GMTV estimates to...
  11. 06/27/22 Build week group

Thanks y'all! @SpringBreak98 & @broncoam I'll take that and run. I swore I wasn't going to be Track Mr. Railroad For A Month, but...
  12. 06/27/22 Build week group

Great! Thanks for the guidance. I'll give Ford a few days before bugging them about it then.
  13. 06/27/22 Build week group

Question for y'all who seem to be a few weeks ahead of my progress: How soon after you reached "shipped" status were you able to get your rail info from Ford and start tracking through CSX?
  14. 06/27/22 Build week group

The ortho view of the rail sidings in the left-middle of that aerial tells an interesting story about how these are transported.
  15. Bronco Team 2 door.

This is fantastic. I'll likely be trying to make something similar. Hope it comes out anywhere close to looking this nice.

I'm sure all the heartburn just disappears the moment yours gets there. Scene at Mount Doom Ford:
  17. How will 2023 MY orders work?

There is no. effing. way that all current orders are going to be shoehorned in for MY'22. There are Day-1'ers without VIN's (not 99'd either). They're already not keeping up with reduced production quotas. Orders with VIN's are sliding weeks/months past initial estimates. If you don't have a...

Hmm, their phone's autocorrect must be activated, because it says "complete satisfaction" when I'm sure they meant to type "unrelenting frustration". Thanks for the screenshot... never seen that one before. Interesting. At least some AI system realizes that there is a level of getting seriously...

Frankly I'm kind of shocked you got an email like this. Was it an automated system one?
