Shorter wheel base brings the rear wheels forward. Same place as the rear seats. So the middle seats gets ditched. Outboard seats come inboard a bit to provide space for the wheel wells which are under those lovely cup holders.
In a four door the rear axle is behind the rear seat so there...
Ford racing sells the ring and pinion as well as the install kit.
What I don’t see available is the carrier from ford. Little bit strange.
I’m more interested in knowing that an m220 carrier from another supplier would be the same. I would think so but I’m not willing to be the Guinea pig...
That guy and apparently mobile one engineers are assigning guilt to DI but it’s due to association.
DI is what allowed smaller turbo engines to exist. Smaller engines were a need to meet cafe. DI didnot cause the use of these style engines.
The reason DI allows this is because of its better...
I occasionally fantasize about a challenger. But no regrets about actually getting my 2 dr. Bronco. Rear leg room is the same as a four door. Unless you need room for five I see no reason for a four door. I have a family of four.
Mine is my daily econo box. If I really need passenger room...
Can’t say I have ever seen a strut tower brace on a full frame vehicle before. Even funnier when you consider the bronco has upper a arms. No struts.
Poverty models. I have a base. And love it. Which it had less software to tell the truth. But it lacks enough to be tolerable.
Analog vacuum assist brakes. Simple obedient hvac. 7mt that is always in the gear I want. I could do with no ambient light. What is there is tolerable but more...
I’m a hard top guy. It will be very rare my bronco top comes off. Then again. The “targa” top comes off so easy that could be common practice in the evenings.
but in line with this thread. The main reason I bought it was because it was available with a manual.
Mine works perfect. I’d buy a manual jeep before I got an auto bronco.
actually it would be a challenger. Then a mustang. A jeep wouldn’t be on the radar.
This is fantastic! Shorter throws with a stick that doesn’t cause my arm to slam into the center console!
people. Short throw is not the same as short stick. Granted that is how most after market shifters get a shorter throw. I’m happy they went the extra mile to reduce the throws and make the...
No! Your nose is not -100. Just like the inanimate objects your nose can only get as cold as -10. Your nose looses heat as quickly as it would if it were -100 with no wind.
I really like what Galpin did with the grill. The “bezel” in white with the “grill mesh” in black looks good to me. Not too much white.
Over all I love it and it’s making me consider spending time and money I don’t have to paint my EG base a similar paint scheme.
That count down leaves fuel in the tank when it hits zero.
I hit zero all the time in my f250. It ends up working out that there is 5 gallons reserve once at zero.
Looking at that video posted on page one when zero hits there is at least two gallons left. More like 2.5 if the dude went 40...
Mj I am also familiar with Bosch. It is an assist. Same as electric power steering. The pedal is mechanically linked and the motor helps to push the piston same as in the steering a rack bar gets “pushed” by the motor to help assist the driver mechanically moving the steering system. In your...
MJ. You seem to be in the industry as well. Do you know what supplier is on the bronco? I’m curious to look into its fine points of ebb implementation vs what I am used to. It seems there are differences. Which makes sense otherwise there would be a lot of patents getting broken...
This would be nice. That screen is big. Way to much interior light while trying to look at a dark road. Yes I have dimmed mine and it is tolerable but turning off all together would be nice without toggling several screens deep.
an ebb. Note the pushrod on the back that would connect to the pedal. It goes all the way thru to the piston of the master. In between is the motor and ball screw assembly that helps push that rod. There is a direct mechanical connection to the hydraulic system. This is a ZF picture from...
Mj. You are describing a brake by wire system. Not an ebb system. The brake pedal is directly connected to the master cylinder piston. The ebb has a motor and ball screw that assists pushing that piston just like a diaphragm on a vacuum system. And yes that motor runs any time the brake...
