  1. Used Value Dropping Fast

I don't know. I'd say that 60's Mustang was your first car with a WOW factor and probably still beats out the new Bronco in that arena. New Bronco beats out modern Mustang, but a 60's Mustang!? All I can say is WOW! EDIT: '65 Mustang GT. Iconic.
  2. Used Value Dropping Fast

^This Bronco buyers paid MSRP or above for what is primarily an adventure/fun vehicle. As much as we like to think a 4-door Bronco is a practical vehicle, it is not so much - and especially compared to cheaper minivans and 7-seat crossover SUVs that cost a lot less when interests rates are sky...
  3. Replace FORD lettering on grill of Raptor?

This actually looks a lot like the Raptor grill except with Bronco letters installed and the three required amber lights for trucks wider than 80". You can install whatever six letters in whatever color available to be found online. NOW, I wonder how this grill looks without the letters as the...
  4. Replace FORD lettering on grill of Raptor?

Yeah, if OP wants the big letters of the "FORD" I think the only way is painting the letters, but ya get your color choice.
  5. Replace FORD lettering on grill of Raptor?

Not that I am aware of but others may know better. Not sure if the Bronco grill is a direct fit as the Raptor has different shaped fenders behind the grill than the Bronco (may be as I have seen Bronco owners post picks of OEM Raptor grill on), but if it is you can take your choice of Bronco...
  6. Question on Big Bend without 4A

From the article: Are G.O.A.T. modes useful? About as useful as the pre-programmed buttons on your microwave. My street suspension/street driver unibody AWD only '16 Explorer has similar terrain modes. Not the heavier off-road modes, but the more street use modes and a "trail" mode. The manual...
  7. Question on Big Bend without 4A

My '16 Explorer is AWD only. For street driving it has been just fine in up to 6 inches of snow. Could go deeper if I took the plastic front air dam off. My '10 Escape is the old higher-off-the-ground box-like version than the newer version (I think '13 is when the newer crossover look with...
  8. 2024 Bronco Wildtrak delivered! Photos (exterior, interior, dashboard).

I have no idea why Ford does not do this out of the factory on such an expensive vehicle. I read somewhere it is to prevent rust between pieces of metal, but not only must there be a simple way, they could easily just smooth out and fill in the weld marks before painting. And, how does my less...
  9. Anybody pulled over by cops for tires poking out from fender flares?

Awesome! The reason I asked is the person in the below YouTube put on 285/75 on a BD that poked a bit, but I figure now it was the offset of her new wheels. She spent extra $$ for the SAS flares to cover the poke. Needless to say, we both have steelies and the offset seems fine for the base...
  10. Bronco Rambo Raptor Reveal *Video*

The camo is kind of cool. The orange a bit much for me. I'm pretty conservative. Don't go for bright colors on cars much. Even a race red that I think looks great on some cars would not be for me on my car. A simple, darker shade matte or satin wrap in a unique hue of steel would be fine by me...
  11. Anybody pulled over by cops for tires poking out from fender flares?

Not what I read last week. The PA Senate passed but the PA House tabled it indefinitely.
  12. 2Dr or 4? New Member

I got the 2-door, but already have two 4-door Ford SUVs. Kids out of nest on their own. GF has her own place and own small SUV. So for me this was a no-brainer. And JMHO, I think the 2-door looks better. Also like that it is more unique. For the two of us the 2-door is great. Heading out to...
  13. Anybody pulled over by cops for tires poking out from fender flares?

Normal cars or big rigs where the rocks fly high to the side of the flaps when you are next to them. I read about how renowned the new Bronco is for windshield cracks due to the windshield being so flat upwards I set my insurance comprehensive to $0 co-pay. Not that much more to pay with a low...
  14. Anybody pulled over by cops for tires poking out from fender flares?

Makes sense. Really like the Bronc kicking the back tire. For me, I don't intend to put a lot into my BD as it is fine for my primary means of off-road, which is a lot of beach driving for days at the beach and working the beaches for nights of surf fishing. When new tires come around, I'll get...
  15. Anybody pulled over by cops for tires poking out from fender flares?

Good to know 11 states agree with me!
  16. Anybody pulled over by cops for tires poking out from fender flares?

I personally feel DUI checkpoints are unconstitutional, but SCOTUS has ruled otherwise: The United States Supreme Court has specifically approved the use of limited sobriety checkpoints to combat impaired drivers (Michigan v. Sitz, 496 U.S. 444 (1990)). The Court held that sobriety checkpoints...
  17. Anybody pulled over by cops for tires poking out from fender flares?

Looks great! And I assume no poke but can't really tell from pic. Any other mods - lift/spacers/remove crash bars?
  18. Anybody pulled over by cops for tires poking out from fender flares?

Actually, cops only need reasonable suspicion to pull you over (can the cop articulate specific facts you have violated the motor vehicle code or otherwise committed a crime). Probable cause is needed to arrest but can also be used to pull you over. To your point, driving properly within the...
  19. Anybody pulled over by cops for tires poking out from fender flares?

Legit point on rocks being thrown, but PA is the only state that does not allow you to take doors off, so I don't buy laws (all laws that is) are passed for a reason. PA states driving without doors is dangerous in a crash so that is banned, but PA allows you to drive a motorcycle without a...
  20. Anybody pulled over by cops for tires poking out from fender flares?

I agree tires should not stick out from flares too much, but if you upgrade a BD to 285 they will stick out a half an inch on BD 265 flares. I don't see a prob with that, but a cop driving revenue could.
