    The 2.3 under the hood is very open and Accessible . The 2.7 under there is almost a nitemare to get to something for a repair. Later down the road the 2.3 might be better for repairs . Huge difference.

    Kinda crazy that most people buy hard tops as to expect dry and warmer with less noise.

    Maybe the seal is cut or made to short or shrunk. I would imagine Ford will replace it for a longer one .

    I only have seen the two side by side so I sure can comment about the two and the extra space on the 2.3 motor .

    I would be cussing the devil try to do a minor repair on the 2.7 motor because of the room space. The 2.3 has a ton of empty bay space on both sides . So after years of use in time small repairs will be needed . I tend to keep my vehicles many Years .
