The 2.7 is very cluttered or let's say bisie under the hood . It would be a nitemare getting to certain items for a fix .
The 2.3 has gobbs of space on each side .
Congratulations on your new motor ,I guess it's updated now with no worries .
You should have bought a sasquatch package and been happy. You tried to save money doing mods your self in most cases it turns out fine but this is a new release vehicle . I don't want the mod my sasquatch rig when I get one , and a basesaquash at that maybe lights.

The manual let's you Rev the heck out of the motor at will . A auto should last longer over the life of the engine because of lower revs . I was set on only a 2.7 but I'm pretty sure I'm getting 2.3 auto 4 door base sasquatch .
.. I'm in So Cal. ,the desert is my playground . Hit some powdered sand once in 29 palms and it was easy to get stuck unless you keep your speed up and have the right tires .😉 It was not even like beach sand but more like powdered sugar .
