  1. đź›  3/21/22 Build Week Group

Mine arrived at Alliance rail yard in Ft Worth yesterday about 1pm, which is about 30 minutes from me (and my dealer), according to the automated CSX phone system. I can feel it’s presence in my bones. My dealer says this morning that it “hasn’t been accepted yet” at Alliance. Whatever that...
  2. đź›  3/21/22 Build Week Group

got my production line photo yesterday! Mine is scheduled to arrive at dealer 4/9-4/15, but it's not showing in palsapp. By now I've learned to just wait and see... but getting this close I'm getting anxious again :)
  3. đź›  3/21/22 Build Week Group

Honestly, I have been forcing myself to not check on updates so frequently the last few weeks. My dealer isn’t at all proactive about giving me info, and with no reliable way to check via any method besides emailing him… After getting bumped to 3/28 week then back to 3/21 week I kinda resigned...
  4. đź›  3/21/22 Build Week Group

I was originally 3/14 week. Then 3/28 week. Then 3/21 week with a build day of 3/26. Today I got the email from Ford saying it has been built! 14 months after I converted my reservation to an order, I finally have a window sticker... Now it's just a matter of the thing actually arriving here...
  5. Have VIN # now. How long until build date?

Most things can’t be changed, but some can. I was able to change paint color, bumpers, things like floor mats, etc after I had a VIN. It doesn’t become fully locked until it actually enters production.
  6. Can someone explain how this happens?

I actually don’t think they guesstimate how many to order and put stock in a warehouse. Quite a few years ago auto manufacturing shifted to a “just in time” methodology, where they establish vendor relationships and leave most of the warehousing to those vendors. They order from the vendors the...
  7. Can someone explain how this happens?

I agree with you 100%. I think the major issues are that a) Ford never expected this to be a customer-order-based production - COVID made that happen - and b) approx 100 years of selling cars through dealerships means a massive ecosystem that is not only slow to change direction but could be...
  8. đź›  3/28/22 Build Week Group

No longer a part of the glorious pi week (pie week?) team. I got traded. Hello fellow 3/28ers. How’s tricks?
  9. đź›  3/14/22 Build Week Group

Mine got pushed to 3/28. Suppose I will have a new group of people to share misery… I mean excitement with :)
  10. 3” ADVENTURE SERIES LIFT KIT FOR SASQUATCH AND BADLANDS

Your terms are acceptable. Assuming I even have my bronco by then… otherwise I’ll be forced to slum it in one of my Jeeps, haha
  11. 3” ADVENTURE SERIES LIFT KIT FOR SASQUATCH AND BADLANDS

I think there is only one way to settle this once and for all. Let’s go wheelin ;)
  12. 3” ADVENTURE SERIES LIFT KIT FOR SASQUATCH AND BADLANDS

I looked at a couple of your threads, and I agree that for your truck, these added capability. I would argue though that (if budget allowed) swapping into the sasquatch parts would have been a better choice for roughly the same increase in ground clearance. More spring/shock versus simply more...
  13. 3” ADVENTURE SERIES LIFT KIT FOR SASQUATCH AND BADLANDS

First, I fully appreciate your ability to disagree civilly. Props on that - it's a skill that seems to be woefully absent on these forums, and really in society as a whole. While I reserve the right to be wrong :), I don't think the spacers in question are realistically any better than the...
  14. NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH: Traceable Security Labels Made Exclusively For Bronco!!!

This seems like a product that should be aimed at insurance companies instead of dealerships and the general public. Most of the time a vehicle or parts are stolen, especially a late model vehicle, the consumer's involvement with the recovery process is limited and ultimately ends with the...
  15. ADV Bronco Hardtop Pricing ANNOUNCED

with all these questions about shipping... I'm wondering if the sales plan for these tops is direct-to-consumer, or if they will be offered through dealers for that same price. According to the dealer locator on the @ADV Fiberglass website, there are several near me. Can I just buy it through...
  16. đź›  3/14/22 Build Week Group

Unfortunately I have done... bronco customer service said they can't see any info about build week - they will only be able to give updates once it actually enters production. My dealer contact can look at the order system, but he's not super proactive and emailing him every day with an "any...
  17. ⏱ No Bronco Scheduling Next Week (2/7)

We've been making semiconductors in the US for decades (see:Texas Instruments, et al). They're having the same problems as all other manufacturers. it's the raw materials that are the problem, not where they are manufactured.
  18. đź›  3/14/22 Build Week Group

where are these bump emails coming from? I've never received any updates from Ford, beyond the initial order (and re-order) confirmations. Still on week 3/14... as far as I know.
  19. ADV Bronco Hardtop Pricing ANNOUNCED

The price doesn’t bother me at all - in these circumstances it makes a lot of sense. The promise is significantly higher quality than OEM, while being one of very few attainable options. Now the trick is seeing if that promise is actually delivered. Get some into the hands of YouTubers, post...
  20. Update on Patriot Fastbacks hardtops for Bronco - preview images & pricing

Is your seat all the way down? I ask because I fit in my wrangler exactly as you describe fitting in your bronco. It’s not great. I don’t have my bronco yet but I have driven a couple and it’s significantly better. Like wearing a 2XLT instead of a 2XL. Lots more headroom, knee room, etc. it...
