  1. I am torn. Bronco vs. Daily Driving a Guzzler

I have taken on some road trips. Seems like it’s a windsock after 65. but yeah, I also like the throttle.
  2. I am torn. Bronco vs. Daily Driving a Guzzler

I’m 5300 miles in or so, and I’m definitely not a big fan of the fuel economy. Once the novelty wears off, I plan to use it mostly as a weekender and go back to my daily. It’s a Pontiac G8 with the 6 liter, but it’ll get low to mid 20’s in mixed driving. Not good either, but I did the planet...

  4. OEM Ford Splash Guard modification for use with rock rails [updated with template]

  8. Update: 2nd Blackstone Oil Analysis Results (2.7 Bronco) @ 4,000 miles (3000 on Oil)

I've not seen anything in my research to make me think Costo's oil is an inferior product. It's approved for the two standards you mentioned. Regarding oil change intervals, I may extend them a bit in the future, but I haven't decided. It's cheap insurance...
  9. Update: 2nd Blackstone Oil Analysis Results (2.7 Bronco) @ 4,000 miles (3000 on Oil)

21195 is my Julian date. I've used regular fuel for the most part. Kirkland synthetic oil (Costco) for both oil changes. First oil filter was a WIX, 2nd (one I just installed) is a Motorcraft.
  10. Whose 2.7 is running strong with no issues?

It’s been great so far. Zero issues after @flip the Ruxer techs sorted the dead camera module. Second oil change 10 miles or so ago. Waiting for the oil analysis results.

So far so good! 4,227 miles. 21195 (July 14th, 2021)

  14. 2.7L blown engine failure list . . 68 so far [Updated: December 13, 2022]

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping. My engine's build date is 7/15/2021, and I'm at 4,227 miles with no issues. Oil analysis at 1000 miles was clean, and I just sent off a sample from the oil change I did last night...
