Good info, thanks for sharing. I have the CC model of the dual fog switch. I think the BCM coding 0303 may be why I was not detecting power. I am going to check this today.
When you do get to wiring to the rear fogs harness, please take pictures of where and how you tapped in.
looking for this too, do you have the front factory harness? If so can you test out voltage your are getting and share changes you made in forscan.
I ran into a bug where I enable 726-01-02 front fog light indicator using “80” to enable and it disables the brake light indicator, repeatable...
glad it’s getting done, did you get any pictures on how he wired it up? That would be helpful to confirm what a few of us have been trying. In terms of the programming, I have the dual switch installed, both rear and front fogs enabled and confirmed buttons work and light up the dashboard...
how did the install go, is the dual fog switch a go?
belive it or not I found the factory harness, programmed it and still did not get power to it, so I am used auxiliaries right now until someone has success with the Mabett and factory fog switch, single or dual.
I was also trying to use the factory fog harness and found that I am not getting any power from the harness after enabling through Forscan, did you measure with a meter to check for voltage before installing the lights?
I also bought the ford light switch model ending in CC, which has...
Is it expecting a ground in the fog harness? I have two lamps so I was planning on taking just both the white led wires, making a Dorman pigtail with the two white led cables and other end is the male molex, So two led lights to the molex with no ground on each side. The ground cable for the...
There is one harness for fogs on each side. When I turn the fog light switch on and check for voltage on the fog light harness I am not getting anything. I double checked forscan to make sure it was enabled and it is. I am wanting to see power sent before I start splicing wires.
Here is what I know, from the fog lights there are two cables, each has a red, yellow, and black.
Red is white lights
Yellow is amber lights
Black is ground (connected to negative battery terminal in my setup).
So from the fog light, you have two harnesses, those each have the RYB in the...
Looks like I found the factory fog light wire so I won’t need to splice in after all now I just need to create a harness to connect the mabbet, taking the wires for both white lights Dorman to factory molex.
Need to replace this female as it’s the wrong size with the factory fog female
Then...
Okay, going to see if I have this factory harness. So the dorman male end connects to either the amber or white Dorman female from the fog lights on each side and the molex connects to the factory fog light. I ordered the same parts you did so will have to do this swap as well
I ordered both these and am thinking now I do have the existing fog light cable. So, wondering if I use that in the mod bumper how would I cable up just the the white lights to it using the parts you shared?
So I was able to find the harness and wires for the right/left front fogs in C203, but it is unclear to me how it would work with the fog light harness I have for the mabett raptor style lights.
Essentially the fog lights have two wires one for amber one for white. They go into a why connector...
If they use the dual switch can you have them take pictures of where they wired in the Rear fogs and to which harness? I have the dual switch in but not clear on the location of the rear fog harness. Nobody has posted the location yet.
