Base Badlands but manual had same ratios as SAS. Lifted BD

I’m thinking of swapping my 4D Black Diamond (Automatic 2.7 engine) for a 2D Badlands (Manual 2.3). I do a lot of offroad/gravel/mud driving. not a daily driver. just my fun rig. Anyone have experience driving both engines? Any thoughts or comments before I commit?

My broken tie rod was repaired under warranty. 31k miles. Loads of off-roading.

I actually installed the HEAVY springs. Not much difference in the break dive from stock.

I have had the lift for about a year and had no problems. It's a little stiffer than the stock suspension, but feels great off-roading. I don't give a shit about MPG, so I do not know how it changed that (BD has terrible MPG anyway). Haven't changed the tires/wheels yet. Probably won't until...

Drove over 100 miles at interstate speeds and had no issues with only having the front panels installed. It's going to be a great summer!

I waited 632 days. And I would have waited another year to get what I wanted. Luckily it only took 632 days to get exactly what I wanted including everything that had constraints. I am currently waiting to have my front diff replaced. It only took 3 weeks to get parts.
