I received the same update. I need to test the function with the hood and tailgate.
I'm still trying to figure out the in dash turn directions with Carplay(Wildtrak with Lux). I haven't been able to see any turn by turn yet
Before the VW I was always driving coupes- more than enough room for me and my golf bag, but no utility for a Home Depot run or loading any cargo. Thats a lot of what pushed me into a truck. Just more room for stuff.
Now driving a truck for not even 5 months, the size doesn't bother me...
I'm considering snow tires- I'm not worried about getting stuck in a snow bank or deep snow, I want the traction and security for the daily drive if/when roads are coated after plowing etc.
If I go that way I'll consider something in a narrower profile and unfortunately a smaller diameter...
I turn it off on secondary roads. Itās overly intrusive when you need to cross the center line to move around a delivery truck or bicyclist. On the highway Iād say Iāve had it on almost 100% of the time. I need to try it off on the highway and see if the warning goes away.
I don't believe its related to lane keeping or ACC- I'm not positive, but its possible its on any/every trim. Seems to pop up when there are zero steering inputs for a few seconds
In the past two weeks I've started seeing a lot more Broncos on the road here in North Jersey. I saw 1 every 2-3wks, now I'm seeing 2 a week. As the community grows and more people get familiar with it I do see the novelty and newness wearing off. BUT at the same time the bigger the community...
John, I went went with white fogs. IF I decide I want to try amber/yellow and just swap the lens color, how close does that get to the effect(wavelength) of the true Amber LED?
The new MK8 GTI looks pretty good........ the tuning options are endless. If you don't need any ruggedness for off pavement(or prepared dirt/gravel) the GTI is tough to beat. If your interests take you places or would benefit from being able to leave the pavement the Bronco is tough to beat...
The sound from the tail gate- prior to the cold weather was noticeable to me driving alone. It was random, didn't rely on any bumps, from research here and going over the tail gate multiple times it does seem to relate to the bumpers which support the spare. The way the rubber moves against...
I took delivery of my A51 Wildtrak on 7/28/2021- Lux, Tow, Side Steps, Floor Liners. In just over 4 months I've put on 5708mi(as of this morning-12/1). Coming from a tuned 2016 VW Golf R and never having owned a "truck" this is a completely different animal. Some of my views/opinions are...
I'm not ready to install a tune or piggy back on my 2.7L yet. The engine is a known commodity- but I'd like to give it a few months to see how things shake out with the transmission limitations etc.
However I did run a JB4 Beta on a 2016 VW Golf R for just shy of 90k miles. I had no issues at...
I'm interested in adding pod/ditch lights and I'm torn between the SS3 and SS5. I've never seen them in person and don't know if the 3" are too small or the 5" too big. I'd lean towards the 5" but it may be overkill. This is my daily driver so I'm somewhat concerned with noise if one is louder...
Update:
I have 2 top issues being addressed- a center panel with damage during delivery(cosmetic dent) and this leak. With the complete replacement MIC 2.0 pending I haven't been in a rush for a resolution. The replacement panel was ordered before the 2.0 replacement announcement and the...
Has anyone come across a rod rack for the interior of the 4-door?
Something that would allow 1pc or assembled rods to be transported, possible something hanging from the sport bar?
Having stalked the trackers and Ford CS during the process this probably leaves me(and a lot of others) with more questions.
6/30 blend, 7/1 Ford CS confirmed it was built and waiting for..... something
7/18 Built Email
7/28 Took delivery
So is the "built" range listed on the recall based on...
For those with Sasquatch packages what size will you go within a dedicated snow tire? Downsize to 16" ? 285 or smaller?
I'm thinking black steelies from a Big Bend may fit the bill AND look good
Prior to the error code I was in 4A during a rainstorm. After the code the button shows it being in 2H. I didnt think to look at the power distribution. 3pt turns in a parking lot, pulling out of a driveway, thereās binding and wheel hop/spin both front and rear. It actually takes more throttle...
