Even pre-kids, hated the 2 doors I’ve owned. Daily PITA. More power to those who don’t as I do think it looks better and saves money. The poser takes are lame.
With Bronco Sports hitting lots, help a fellow B6er out. The below colors are shared between the two models in order of most need to see in person. Once a Sport/color is identified, other members can run out to see them in person. I’ve checked my local dealer and so far nothing.
1. Cactus...
I was BD all fall until B&P came out. Reasons for change:
1. 33” tires with wheels I like (not a fan of steelies)
2. High package (12” screen and heated seats)
3. I didn’t like the two tone MGV
4. Resale value of a BL versus amped up BD
The difference was only $5k and sure, most of this can...
Is there any value to the customer to ordering before 1/31? I feel like Ford has been clear that reservation date is what matters as long as you order before the deadline.
Am I correct to assume dealers are simply trying to speed things up to avoid cold feet? The conversion rate after a...
GVWR makes some sense since they could be trying to keep the vehicle in a specific weight class for whatever reason. What doesn’t make sense in this scenario is that you can add accessories to your heart’s content. heavy accessories.
For example, the pull out tailgate is likely 20 pounds...
Seems like the ones who should be most upset are the dealers. They are now going to have to make a ton of tweaks to December orders.
I’m pretty much set on my build, but I could see adding a late availability accessory like the tailgate options. Will be an email for me, more work for Albert...
There are a lot of valid opinions in this thread. One common theme emerges, Ford priced this right. There isn’t a sure fire best option. At this point, it’s personal preference.
1. 35” versus 33” with a very similar lift.
2. stock rims versus bead lock capable.
3. fatter tires that look...
I’ve read the entire thread and think these are unique points.
1. B&P Price. The statement says, “reduced by $1,895, the full retail price of the black painted modular hardtop option.” To me, this implies Ford discounted the Wildtrack the full price of the upgrade while including the MIC as...
God forgive me for bringing this up, but with the window sticker could this be a more production intent top? It looks decidedly darker, though that could be lighting (or lack thereof).
A poster claimed a few months back that production would be closer to the window hinge. It sure looks like...
Another question: with the higher travel will the BL 33” ride much lower than the SAS? I’m kind of excited about the wheel space you see in that CO BL two door. That looks super sexy and again, the BL 33” will be incredibly capable.
I’m sold on the 33” tires. Feel it’s a perfect balance for people using this as their DD who don’t live in extreme locations (mountains, sand, heavy snow). It should drive better on pavement, get better mileage, be quieter.
My big question is what accessories can or cannot be added in the aftermarket. I’m fine ordering without the pull down table as long as I can add it later. If not, then how long would I have to wait for a Bronco with the table?
these are basic questions.
I’d like the exact MIC roof just darker, like the rear window hinge. Otherwise, the design is great from what I’ve been able to see.
Lack of a light interior color option across materials for what is essentially a convertible designed to drive on the beach (my main reason for wanting a Bronco)...
Who will sell me their MIC top? I’d love to get the soft top and fork over $1k for a MIC hard top to the first person to offer.
I live in Raleigh and would drive to pick it up.
I know this is a beaten to death topic, but I actually prefer the MIC concept because it’s lighter and more robust. If only it werent that awful shade of gray. I’ll try line-x or some other darker coat but am not sure how that is going to turn out.
At one point I was sold on a soft top now...
I’m back to my October take. I will not buy CG unless I see it on a vehicle in person. A Bronco Sport would suffice, but I need to see it for myself. Too mint and I’m out, flat gray and I’m out. Sounds like a small window, but most photos look just right... the B&P not being one of them.
Most of the items I want will be available in the aftermarket. I’m looking forward to building out my Bronco over time. That is a big part of the lure.
Great job by Jeremy getting so many of the angles right. This is the best bundle of photos from a random sighting that I’ve seen. That it’s CG makes it even better.
