  1. It appears 360 cameras save images

This is pretty on point as far as Mexican food breakdown. BUT having tried Mexican food everywhere east and west of I-10, I would say San Diego and L.A. are the winners for me. Then AZ, TX., and NM. East coast has got it wrong all along šŸ˜‚ Then again, food tastes and salivary glands are like...
  2. Exterior Trim Pocked

Have you taken the Bronco on brushy trails? I have the same issue, but I know it was my own doing. If that’s your case, warranty claim could possibly be denied.
  3. Interior plastic treatment

You’re absolutely right. It’s a great product if you follow the application instructions to the letter. I also wait a day or two after washing the Bronco to apply it in the garage making sure there are absolutely no wet spots or surprise drips from weather stripping, etc.
  4. Enable backup camera when driving?

No worries. And no, just the front one. And only if under 10 mph. Maybe even less like @Ducati1098 mentioned. The only time it comes on full time (front camera) is when you switch to off-road GOAT modes like Baja, Mud/Ruts, etc. The rear camera only comes on when in reverse.
  5. Interior plastic treatment

This ā˜ļø. I almost exclusively use Cerakote products on my Bronco, from trim restorer, to ceramic coat and glass protection. They are in fact less known, but they are incredibly amazing.
  6. My modular bumper is rusting!

Take off the bumper (super easy) clean it thoroughly, prep it by lightly sanding the rusted bits, and spray it with several coats of Steel-It (Google it). I have used it in multiple items (including steel bumpers) and it’s a great alternative. Bit expensive at almost $40 a can, but worth it...
  7. Test Drove a Bronco Sport

Never thought of the Explorer as a rugged SUV, let alone the Escape…
  8. Drain plug?

Ronin plug all the way. You can even attach a hose to it and direct the used oil directly into an empty jug or two and take them straight to recycling without having to transfer used oil from your catch pan if you choose to do that. Yes it is a bit slower, but well worth it. I rarely have to...
  9. Engine wash help

Same as others… foaming cleaner, low pressure, avoid electrical connectors and air intake. I use a leaf blower to disperse water and always wash it with the engine running. The heat generated by the engine evaporates and dissipates excess water very quickly. Been doing this for over 20 years in...
  10. CarbonSteel's 2023 Wildtrak Build + Maintenance Journal (Filters, Fluids, Oil Changes Etc)

I used the black ones and they did rust in less than 4 months. It’s cosmetic, but looked like crap. I will be swapping those bolts next time I take the didf cover off. For now I used an oil based paint marker to disguise the rust on the face of the bolt.
  11. Bad interior smell

That does help narrowing down the search. Thank you!
  12. Bad interior smell

@Ducati1098 or someone else with access, is there a diagram available to help locate the AC drain hose? Like many, I can see the puddle and hear the sizzling, but can’t find the damn thing šŸ˜‚! I just replaced the cabin air filter but wanted to run some foam cleaner to get the muck out. Wondering...
  13. Baja Designs Pocket Fog Light question

Testors flat black enamel paint marker works wonders on powder coated surfaces, especially small peels and blemishes like that. Barely noticeable. You could also disassemble and have it coated in Cerakote. Or DIY with a can of Steel-It. That thing is wonderful too.
  14. Damnnnnnnnnn! Nice.

    That’s the new BearCat APC!
  15. The Best Overland Vehicle Water Storage I've Found!

@B Miller what roof rack is that? And thanks for the MSR bag suggestion. About to pull the trigger on it!
  16. Pictures of wiring garage door opener to AUX switch

Oh man, that’s a bummer. I had no idea the Everglades was only offered with mid package. I don’t get Ford’s approach with limiting options for different trims. And same here, I still have 3 unused switches after almost 2 years owning mine. Anyway, that was pretty ingenious on your part! Thanks...
  17. Pictures of wiring garage door opener to AUX switch

Looks like a fun and simple project. Question, does the Everglades not come with the sun visor garage opener buttons? Seems like wasting an Aux switch just for this, but I would totally give this I try if I didn’t have the buttons on my visor!
