Getting mine back from the dealership tomorrow. The say that ford told them to check the transmission fluid and change fluid and run some diagnostics. Everything came back normal and Ford I calling this a normal noise at least for now. Other then the noise it runs great. So it least its...
Mines currently in the shop. Awaiting to hear what they think the problem is. Been following all these threads and @Ford Motor Company doesnt seem to have a clue. Quite disturbing for 50,000$ vehicle.
If I have a dealer install it do I still need to download the tune on the device from the computer? Or how does that work? Or do I just hand them the device and they do everything? Thanks for your help.
Fast shipping. Just got it today. Unfortunately my bronco is at the dealer for transmission issues. Fortunately I can just drop it off to them. while they hopefully fix the noise. Do I preload it on the device from a a pc before I give it to the dealer?
I am also in the gravel in the transmission crowd. Bronco currently at the dealer. Haven't heard back yet. But pretty sure I don't want new transmission until you @Ford Motor Company Figure this out. Want to love my bronco again.
Same. Taking mine in on the 17th as well. Started a case number with ford to document. But feel the same way don't want to get the replacement tranny with another crappy tranny. Ill see what they say and keep following in hopes Ford Motor Company fixes the solution sooner then later.
I get the same smell. I didn't notice it until I put on a new exhaust system. Its only when I get on it. Not bad unless windows are down or top off. Keep hearing its burn off but im at 7400 miles think it would be burned off by then.
experience the same thing. Occasionally. Used to experience it in my 90 wrangler. Usually just push in the clutch and shift to second. only happens when cold or moderately warmed up. More concerned with my transmission noise right now. ugh!
Having the same issue. Its only at low RPM and in 1st and second gear when slowing down I can hear it. but its definitely there. Runs fine though. Had about enough with this thing though. Don't see myself buying any more fords down the road. Just going to keep driving it for now and watch this...
Think i'm driving faster and more spirited for sure. That 7mt with pedal commander and exhaust has me zipping around. But then I got a ticket, I guess at least the cop complimented me on the bronco and was checking it out. Now I'm 50/50. lol.
I installed a axel back dual exhaust from AFE. I seems like ever time I get on it a bit I get a weird and bad burning smell coming from the exhaust. Anybody else experience this with an aftermarket exhaust? Or any suggestions to what it might be. It seems to be after hitting the boost pretty...
Has happened to me quite a few times. I just put in neutral or shift to second. Def seems to do it when its cold. Used to do it in my jeep as well. But that was a 1990YJ. you would think technology would have fixed that issue. Either way not worried but def watching this thread.
