Looks like my standard Heritage build comes in at just over $1100 more than my Wildtrak build that has price protection.
I'm just slightly sad you can't option modular bumper on it. Looks like I need to find a front bumper without a light-bar slot that I like.
I'm waiting on the B&P for '23 to go live to see what the cost for the standard Heritage is gonna kick me in the shin for.
A Wildtrak with modular top was my original reservation and order.
I've never really liked the MiC top and have looked at each one that has hit my local dealers lot...
Go ahead and put me on the list for the Aluminum Base Base red variant.
Now I need to find light weight wheels that will match the color of the lettering.
*hint hint* ;)
I'm glad to see the non-signature lights are standard on ths standard Heritage body, like I had hoped, but I don't see the modular bumper as an option. I guess I'll wait for the B&P to drop and find out.
We must have read the same tea leaves.
Since I'm with Granger and the possible flood of 99er's coming that want the Modular top, I looked at it as a way to possibly keep myself from ending up in purgatory for another year (maybe) and not slipping too far back inline.
I lose price protection...
I didn't see it announced on the forums, but I've also been busy in real life, so I may have missed it.
DV8 added their Competition Series bumper to the site.
It's a decent looking bumper, but I wish companies that purposely put light bar slots in their bumpers would offer a 'blank' insert of...
I watched that video the day they did it and took his comment as the black modular top being Q3 at the earliest.
It also solidified my thoughts on going standard Heritage body and doing the build that I like the most (at the moment 😉). I just need to see the price and what can be optioned on...
Also, if you haven't seen the colors you want to choose in person, I'll post a link where you can order actual swatches of the colors. You're limited to 10 choices per order though and with the rise in shipping rates, it costs just as much as the samples to send, sadly.
It's a good idea to...
I fixed the link in my original post, since it broke for some reason.
I, personally, would try and not mention it's a Wildtrak if they're insistent on the whole factory color thing.
If you're wanting grey, try mentioning it's an Outer Banks and see what happens. (navy pier & grey cloth option...
The only time model should matter is with Badlands & Black Diamond, since their seat style is different than the other models that have the cloth option.
If you look across their standard template options they offer across the models that offer cloth seating, quite a few are the same.
I'm a...
The Reaper tire carrier is frame mounted, so depending on how it would sit in relation to where the top of the Pro runs, a little fabrication with a plasma cutter & tig welder may be needed to make the pair work together.
Yes, those are the color choices, unless something changes between now and order banks opening.
Black doesn't look bad with a white top, along with Race Red and Cactus Gray. The other 2 Grays look better with Black, in my opinion.
The Dealers access the order bank to input your order.
As far as jumping to the front of the line to have a crack at a Limited Heritage, all I can say is good luck.
The speculation is they'll get produced and sent to the Dealer, while the Dealer has no input as to whether it's a 2Dr or 4Dr...
I too have a fairly loaded Badlands, but that's mainly because I messed up and didn't convert back to Wildtrak before the March cut off for 22.5 M.Y, so I could add Hoss 3.0.
My last check put me in the upper 180's in line at Granger and I know it's going to slip once the '23 M.Y order banks...
