I personally like the look of the spare fitted on the back, the reinforcement bracket is a pretty straightforward thing to install imo (I did the rough country).
Yeah he mentioned something about that, I just hope it's safe for me to drive for a few days until I get a service appointment. I do have a second vehicle I can use if it's bad bad.
Lol the guy responding is not fluent in English (this is common in Miami, I'm still getting used to it). I would hope this gets fixed under my warranty I paid for, just hope they don't give me any nonsense with my mods.
I received this in response:
"The problem is not the bolt, since when assembling the bolt they placed it on its side and inside the thread at the base of the caliper is damaged, that is why the screw does not fit anymore."
Thank you very much for your input. The wheels and tires were installed at Discount Tire, and done right in front of me. They didn't touch any other bolts from what I saw unless something slipped my sight while I was staring at my new wheels.
I will ask the shop to throw a new bolt in there...
Hey guys, not sure how to approach this, any help would be much appreciated. I have my Wildtrak in the shop right now getting perch collars installed. The shop messaged me the following:
Current modifications:
BFG KO2s 37"
Method 305: 17 x 8.5, 0 offset
The wheels and tires were...
17x8.5 with 0 offset. I have not done the lift as yet, it's happening soon. Besides that, no rubbing at all with normal road driving. Turning into an elevated driveway ramp (gas station, etc.) a bit faster than you should will cause rubbing to happen (as I found out after a few days of normal...
I ended up going with RPG 2.25 F / 1.5 R, 37s are already on (KO2s) and everything is great, but will need the clearance. Installation should be this week, results to follow.
I feel the same way about cramming the space in the mod bumper. I've been wrestling through a variety of options, still trying to figure out what route to take. I'm glad you uploaded this, I was thinking about doing something similar with one of the brands, not sure which yet. I do like Baja...
Looks excellent! What made you decide on choosing this even though they explicitly state it's not for the HOSS 3.0? Was it a direct fit or did you need modifications?
You and I both! End result looks great thank you for sharing. I spoke with SVC about fitting this exact setup but they only tested on the stock SAS wheels. I know the amount of research you probably went through to end up here. I am now at the point of deciding between SVC and RPG, and if I want...
