My problem is the bumper is THIN and creased badly behind the license plate so a replacement bumper is a requirement for sure. thats 1000 bucks, grill is 300ish, then a few other bits and pieces. deductible is 500 so its cheaper for me to have them do it. Otherwise? Id do it myself.

I work for one of the largest engineering firms in the world and the point isnt anything other than I deal with alot of people. I get asked about my bronco a good bit and the younger engineers that work for me ask if theres a bronco thats more reasonably priced than mine is/was.
I respond that...
Ok, im in western Idaho and have a 25 badlands non sas. I do SOME rock crawling but mostly trails, is the sas better suited for rock crawling? Yes but not by a mile. I wouldnt wanna live on the difference and frankly the everyday manners are far more noticable with the 33s than 35s and fuel...
Bumped into a ford transit, literally, now were gonna see how much it is to repair. Any guesses? I get an estimate tomorrow, literally just the bumper and grill are damaged, no sensors or anything else behind them. Lucky actually. Behind the plate is where the real bend in the bumper is.
youve nailed it and if you look at the Raptor version of this, they solve for that as your exactly right. the issue being on all the non raptor variants that gearing multiplies torque for higher ratio's but the reality of the mating surfaces is that lower ratio's have an issue with tooth count...
Im cautious to mess with fords extensive engineering,,, was thinking about putting 35's on my Non sas badlands but am uneasy as the rear end being a 4.46 and not a 4.7 makes me thinking I am playing with fire. I have a buddy that put 37's on his everglades and has gone through 1 rear end and a...
the problem is demand, here in the PAC-NW, they seem to go fast. 9K off dont seem soo bad, I think mine listed for 67K I financed at 59K, maybe it was a bit more. anyway, hard to say, a deal is a deal only when everyone thinks its a deal. the 26's here are decidedly more and theres almost...
