I've gone through all the posts and didn't see this PP issue come up: Is it still tied to trim like it used to be? Or can I, say, switch from OBX to BL and still qualify for the PP on my order (and the $2,500, too)?

I know this is an ancient thread, but just wondering how this has held up. I'm in San Antonio frequently and probably would go this route if I ever actually get my vehicle. It's been about as bad a summer in Texas as you can get, so it's certainly been tested. Looks awesome by the way.

This is kind of exactly what I'd hope to do, right down to the trim level (OBX). So glad it works! My question: Does this sort of modification do anything to the warranty or extended warranty? I mean, the truck literally says "lift me baby" on the wheel well so it shouldn't, right?

Great news! One question whose answer is already implied: You think us 6-4 types will have any issues with the clutch in terms of leg comfort? Sounds like not considering you didn't have the seat all the way back but just confirming as I really want a manual transmission.

Did the clutch eat up front leg room? I read that recently I think. I'm 6-4 and I want manual, but not if I have to pretzel up my legs.

Thanks all - I really want MT but criss-crossing Texas without cruise would be a PITA. My last MT was an '81 Celica, so glad to hear "modern" technology has come along with it. It's never mentioned on features, probably because it's assumed (like "horn" and "headlights").

Probably stupid question, but I haven't owned a MT vehicle in 30 years: Is regular cruise control available with the MT (not adaptive)? I've read Ford has had it on other MT vehicles in the past.

7/26 and hopeful for delivery this time next year, depending on late availability options. Unless you absolutely know you can't get a Bronco (price, time window, etc.) or you have simply decided that this vehicle isn't for you, I just don't see canceling until we see the actual ordering system...

I was expecting to see some options for the bed area, such as the pull-out tray, the lockable cover and the fold-out tray for inside the tailgate. Or are all those aftermarket? Seems like I've seen them in Ford videos.

Completed the switch this morning. Ford rep noted this was a "very popular" move that she's seeing. Kudos to all y'all.
