Such a tragedy for this family. But it has to be said, they weren't just using a drop hitch, they cobbled together a fatally dangerous setup, and stressed it to the breaking point with a RUNNING START. I mean, this one deserves a Darwin award.

Just wondering what folks do when towing to reduce sag and limit sway. My dealer told me that I needed a hitch extender to get beyond the spare tire, and that prevents using a WDH. Is that correct? Are sumo springs an option to reduce sag?
I've been using this on my Bronco, and it works but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. One issue is that it does not fit solidly in the 6-way socket, so I'm concerned that it will drop out on a bump. It comes with a rubber strap thingy that wraps around the socket cover that does not add...
