I m interested in doing 35-10.50 or 35-11:50 s when my SAS 315-70 s are done. Would like to find similar weighted tires though; as mentioned weight can effect mpg also, not always width.

My Badlands hand calc d is typically 3/4-1 mpg less than lie-o-meter; that said you re getting very nice economy considering it’s a brick and a suv.

I don’t think there’s apples to apples on comparison. Do a few more tanks of fuel, try to replicate the driving conditions, then if still 3 mpg less start the hunt for “what the he_l” happened !!!

Glen24, will oil changes require dropping those Talon skids or is there vroom to get to plug and also drain hole in skids? Thx

On oil change 4 or 5 and each time I ve put in 6 qts. Ends up in the same place every time and as best as I can measure it always drains out 6 qts. “Don’t Worry Be Happy” !!!!

Use the Radio volume control; problem solved!! Having a Jeep in my garage also I knew when ordering my hardtop Bronco that wind/road noise is just a given. If a person can’t deal with that then a metal can SUV s/b where you look. 4 Runner, etc …. JMHO

Fix: Don’t turn so sharp …. reminds me of past years when you see an elderly person who keeps cranking against the turn stops and power steering pump squealing away in protest!! Geezzz

To OP, read a little on where most engine wear occurs …. I realize it may be only 30 seconds from shutoff to re-start so “maybe” not considered a true dry start but far as I m concerned it is!! In addition just wear and tear on starter that I ll bet will cost you as much or more to replace...

Isn’t the tire shop making it right?? If not I d personally be inclined to find a different shop. They are supposed to be the experts on tires and wheels ….

Probably $25-30 per horsepower…. So divide asking tune price by that and probably HP gain …! 😂

I d check wire connectors, straighten as best as you can and go use 4WD more. Otherwise as one of the wise posters stated the Dealercwill probably “waste” a bunch of your time ……
