  1. Phasers, Belts, Brakes, Crash. Nightmare on a new 2.7

"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it," You basically explained Harley Davidson, while the rest of motorcycle manufacturers continued to progress and apply new technologies for efficiency and performance, the US tariffed the competition while HD stuck to obsolete tech...
  2. Massage seats - options?

Buy a 12v massage seat cover with heat (I know you have OEM, heat but with the cover on top of the seat it will be useless) on Amazon for about $50 - $100 and if you don't like it, you have 30 days to return it...
  3. How rare is my Bronco

Unless ford decides to "un-rare" them like they did with the Base model.
  4. How rare is my Bronco

To put it into context, it is as rare as a 2 door manual Wrangler from a few years ago. Just drive and enjoy the thing, and wait until the next pandemic/supply chain issues/Ford CEO creating a fake supply issue perfect storm, for prices to go up again.
  5. Buy lower trim and modify to upper trim?

The lack of 2 door options is not a consequence of a lack of demand, it's ford artificially restricting the available options to create a false sense of uniqueness and charge more money. There is no way a Stroppe cost twice as much to build than my 2 door BaseSquatch with a V6...
  6. Buy lower trim and modify to upper trim?

I bought a Base 2 door for my wife's but added the options that would make financial sense to me. The SAS package for $6k and the V6 for $1,800 were no brainers as there was no way I could do those upgrades for less. I added more modes and will eventually upgrade the screen when a better one...
  7. Bye Bye 2025 Bronco - I'm tired of the hard top CRACKS

On the other hand, people are desensitized from comments from strangers on the internet, it's not like they matter.
  8. Bye Bye 2025 Bronco - I'm tired of the hard top CRACKS

I was a member of this forum for a few years before I got mine. These comments are helpful to those doing research on a vehicle before spending their hard earned money on an exploding 2.7L with an oil pump belt, horrible android auto / carplay connections, a wireless phone warmer, etc. I knew...
  9. James May ROASTS 2D Stropp Bronco

As the owner of a 2 door V6 BaseSquatch, that I got new for close to half the price of a Stroppe, I approve this message...
  10. Recall 25SB5 : Loose Seat Frame Bolts in 2021-2023 Bronco (163k units affected)

Nothing wrong with what you did. Blind loyalty doesn't improve the product and may be a big part of the reason Ford is in this spot quality-wise. The more we factually criticise a product, the better chance it has for improvement.
  11. Bronco Modular Grille Kit (paintable 3 piece grill) from Ford Performance is coming next year

I don't disagree but most of us, including the ones that would never admit it, bought the Bronco for the looks...
  12. Built Ford Tough! Hit by car running from police

That's why I do all maintenance at home!
  13. APIM update question

Nice, I knew the aftermarket would eventually come to the rescue. I hate how we have to reset the radio every few drives because the android auto connection will mess up...
  14. Lubricate shield bolts

Yes, I removed the steel protective pan and the plug like the manufacturer recommends. The comments on the video are irrelevant and shows how little research you have actually done by simply focusing on this. The extraction method removes any sediment that might have escaped the oil filter (the...
  15. Lubricate shield bolts

I truly recommend you educate yourself on this oil change method before commenting. I've removed the pan and plug on my last 3 oil changes and have retrieved an insignificant amount, around 1 tablespoon of oil that is left in the pan. Here is something to get you started:
  16. Lubricate shield bolts

Great advice, I'm about to do it's 4th oil change at 10,500 miles and I usually change it through the top without the need to remove the steel shields. I'll get those bolts lubed up.
  17. Next gen Ford infotainment revealed: Ford Digital Experience

Why don't they focus on getting android auto working without crashing after a few uses, then move on to a new UI...
  18. From Wrangler to Bronco

I had a 2012 Wrangler that was basically flawless for 11 years. Had to change the battery once because I aired back my tires after off-roading with the engine off, and the thermostat was stuck open, a common issue. I heard that modern versions of the 3.6L are less reliable. Replaced with the...
